Even Beast Wars Optimus could beat Godzilla, and I’m pretty sure he’s one of the weakest versions of Optimus. G1 or TFP Prime could win, maybe with a bit of difficulty but they’re still guaranteed to win. And we can’t forget about Armada and IDW Primes. They both faced Unicron (destroyer and consumer of worlds and galaxies), and Armada prime survived being completely disintegrated by a canon that could take out earth in one shot, all because he had the Matrix. Any iteration of Prime is definitely winning.
There’s just so much wrong here lmao. The statements of his spark being stronger than the all spark are derived from the IDW continuity. They are not substantiated by the film in the slightest. Optimus would have been killed by the all spark, and he was certain of it. Megatron was objectively stronger than Prime, and yet he choked up on his melted insides when the all spark entered him. Let’s not forget that this guy was frozen in the arctic, and was kept dormant by rather primitive technology. And yes, it is true that the fallen could have unmade the universe, in his prime (no pun intended). He let go off most of his energon for the hatchlings, and was heavily weakened. Not to mention that he had to rely on external technology to merely process the sun, which is a star-level feat and isn’t even within the fallen’s full ability. The fact that a near-death Optimus and an old and weary decepticon combining slaughtered the fallen tells you that this guy wasn’t all that. Let’s not forget that the KSI statement is pure BS, considering how the movie shows little evidence for it and rather the contrary. They were a sloppy business whose machinery got taken down with ease. You can’t tell me that Hound was taking down beings powered by black hole levels of power. Optimus is just getting stomped. It’s no contest. The fact that an inferior power like Megatron regularly overpowers him and almost kills him, tells me that Godzilla could just destroy Optimus with little difficulty. He just lacks the durability or speed for it, the weaponry too.

Don’t forget that, following some of the lore from other continuities, the matrix of leadership can act similar to a Minecraft totem of undying, but it has near unlimited uses. So as long as the matrix is safe and Optimus has it, he won’t die, and he is exceedingly stronger compared to without it.

To clear up confusion goji c is using the idw bayverse comic feats for movie optimus prime and the idw comics aren't canon there to different continuity's. Idw comic bayverse prime scales to solor system to galaxy or universal but movie prime scales to city block at best
Yeah, this is a loooooot of misinterpretation here. The comparison of sparks absolutely was an exaggeration in the context of the comics, and even then, a spark is a power source that is both the heart and the soul of a transformer, so it has little things to do with their power. Optimus is powerful because of his experience and the strength of his body, which is something that can be changed pretty easily, given that an old decepticon fart has given him wings, and there are tons of instances where a tranformer gets modified to get something new in other TF continuities. So, coming off of that, and using common fucking sense, it is logical to assume that Optimus can not absolutely take on an entire Godzilla, maybe only the first form of Shin at best, because it does look pretty soft. WARNING: lengthy powerscaling argument below, proceed with caution.

@FastModz95 the only time he could have gone lightspeed is when he goes from earth to wherever the fallen was (cybertron?). That would be travel speed, not combat speed. And we can definitely use visuals, if he was going even remotely fast we would have noticed it. Those kinds of visuals ain't that hard to make

Freaking military jets nearly killed megatron in the first movie and he was at his peak and superior to Optimus, there is no way Bayverse Prime can even dare to survive being stomped by Godzilla. Even Beast Wars Optimus could beat Godzilla, and I’m pretty sure he’s one of the weakest versions of Optimus. G1 or TFP Prime could win, maybe with a bit of difficulty but they’re still guaranteed to win. And we can’t forget about Armada and IDW Primes. They both faced Unicron (destroyer and consumer of worlds and galaxies), and Armada prime survived being completely disintegrated by a canon that could take out earth in one shot, all because he had the Matrix. Any iteration of Prime is definitely winning.

The statements of his spark being stronger than the all spark are derived from the IDW continuity. They are not substantiated by the film in the slightest. Optimus would have been killed by the all spark, and he was certain of it. Megatron was objectively stronger than Prime, and yet he choked up on his melted insides when the all spark entered him. Let’s not forget that this guy was frozen in the arctic, and was kept dormant by rather primitive technology.
And yes, it is true that the fallen could have unmade the universe, in his prime (no pun intended). He let go off most of his energon for the hatchlings, and was heavily weakened. Not to mention that he had to rely on external technology to merely process the sun, which is a star-level feat and isn’t even within the fallen’s full ability. The fact that a near-death Optimus and an old and weary decepticon combining slaughtered the fallen tells you that this guy wasn’t all that.
Let’s not forget that the KSI statement is pure BS, considering how the movie shows little evidence for it and rather the contrary. They were a sloppy business whose machinery got taken down with ease. You can’t tell me that Hound was taking down beings powered by black hole levels of power.
Optimus is just getting stomped. It’s no contest. The fact that an inferior power like Megatron regularly overpowers him and almost kills him, tells me that Godzilla could just destroy Optimus with little difficulty. He just lacks the durability or speed for it, the weaponry too.

Yeah, this is a loooooot of misinterpretation here. The comparison of sparks absolutely was an exaggeration in the context of the comics, and even then, a spark is a power source that is both the heart and the soul of a transformer, so it has little things to do with their power. Optimus is powerful because of his experience and the strength of his body, which is something that can be changed pretty easily, given that an old decepticon fart has given him wings, and there are tons of instances where a tranformer gets modified to get something new in other TF continuities. So, coming off of that, and using common fucking sense, it is logical to assume that Optimus can not absolutely take on an entire Godzilla, maybe only the first form of Shin at best, because it does look pretty soft.
