Welcome friends. Here is my journey for 7 days until the Cincinnati Dahlia show. We are going to follow along a few blooms that I'm hoping to take and see each day what they look like for the preparation for the show.
When will your Dahlia Open- Southtown Dahlia Club reference Guide (thank you for sharing)
7-9 Days- Tinge of color visible, or petals loosening at Center
6-7 Days- Colored Petals loosening at Center
6 Days- 1-5 petals lifting straight up
5 Days- Several Petal upright or at 45 degrees, or some flat
4 Days- Petals upright or outer row of petals flat
3 Days- Nearly opener half open or some petals flat
2 Days- Nearly open
1 Day- Fully Open
0 Mature- Pick your winner
