So much hate is directed at both Ashfur and Squirrelflight. Squirrel never told Ashfur she loved him and he did overreact, unlike the whole Thrushpelt loving Bluefur situation. I hate how they changed Ashfur and made him try to kill Firestar with Hawkfrost and all. Ashfur was always a loyal cat and a brave warrior. I would have preferred he became a good friend to Squirrel and Bramble but...Erin Hunter needed this personality change for the plot, I suppose. The red line makes sense, since it does make them look more intimidating and sinister, but I think the whole "crying blood" thing is really cheesy (no offense directed towards Flighty or her video, I find her to be an amazing artist and animator and this video, while one of her older ones, is well done). I guess that's because I think psychopathy is overrated. (A character being crazy in a murderous way is a huge no-no in my book, but I love it when a character is crazy in a harmless, yet goofy or spontaneously artistic way) XD

So much hate is directed at both Ashfur and Squirrelflight. Squirrel never told Ashfur she loved him and he did overreact, unlike the whole Thrushpelt loving Bluefur situation. I hate how they changed Ashfur and made him try to kill Firestar with Hawkfrost and all. Ashfur was always a loyal cat and a brave warrior. I would have preferred he became a good friend to Squirrel and Bramble but...Erin Hunter needed this personality change for the plot, I suppose. As much as I like Ashfur though, plotting your leader's death with a cat from another clan doesn't sound quite...Starclan worthy. But I suppose I would be angry too if the girl I loved got with the son of the cat(Tigerstar) who killed my mother(Brindleface) o-O Both Squirrelflight and Ashfur paid dearly for their mistakes/misfortunes though. I hate neither side ;;
