As far as the first one goes, I totally agree! I mean I think that people generally mean well when they give that kind of advice. But speaking as a very physically sensitive individual, I know what I can and cannot handle. From hitting my pain limit to being able to handle certain meds, there are some things my body just can't handle. And I'm finally telling people "No! I'm not doing that." And people can judge me all they want. If I'm going to live with the consequences, then I'm doing what I think is right. ESPECIALLY if I'm pregnant

I'm sorry that your obgyn tired to use fear tactics on you to get the flu shot. I know when my obgyn brought it up to me, he did say that often, if someone gets the flu while pregnant, the symptoms tend to be more severe and he highly recommended it. But he also made sure that it was my decision in the end.
