I use the Ichigeki samurai it's super fast in all woods and sizes. All the silkys I have broken the blades but this keeps on cutting perfect everytime! All the best to you and your wife.
Have you tried their folding variety and the fixed blades? I'm currently shopping for one, leaning heavily to the ichiban samurai, but I'd love some input as to fixed or folding, y'know?
The Ichiban cuts every bit as good as a Zubat, and the teeth are not as brittle. First time I used my Zubat, I lost two teeth on it, and I did not abuse it. My Ichiban has never lost a tooth cutting the same types of wood. It might not be as pretty, but it cuts like a beaver on pcp.
Nice work fella, good selection of saws 👍. Can't beat a good saw for the forest and making the job quicker and easier . Sorry to hear about the wife fella 😞. Sounds like she's definitely got a good family around her 👍 Atb fella Rick n Billydog
Wow... you did made some investments there... I only have a Bahco Laplander... did enjoy seeing all the different saw you showed here... and family is always first whatever... 🏵️👍
Thanks for watching Reinier I own a lot of wild camping and bushcraft equipment it drives my wife up the wall my bedroom is like a camping store your support is appreciated 👌 nothing wrong with the laplander saw its just that when I use a wood burning stove I cut bigger logs
I want a saw for keeping in my suv to handle trees that have fallen across the road during a storm. I have a Boreal 24 and used it the other day for a 6” tree across the road. I’d like to put one in my other vehicles. I’ll probably get the Ichiban for my Subaru. Was considering the Silky Big Boy, but I might go for the lower cost of the Samurai - it seems to go through wood just a bit faster.
You are correct family does indeed come first, I wish you well. I'll get the other half to buy the bent one before we go camping in the summer, maybe he can chop me some logs instead of buying that treated stuff that chokes you when you burn it.

Ive been using the Boreal 21 for 3 years or so, My dislike is the C clips which hold the Pins in, They can ping off, but nice they give you spares.
Thanks for watching beachsleeper it's greatly appreciated 👍
