To a crazy man everything sane is insane, it's like an ignorant man knows nothing of what to do with wisdom it is lost on them. But! Even a common man can feel the joy when you share it with Emunah, don't dig yourself down to geinom just to fear heaven. Break dance and be joyful

Thank you, I didn't Know about this aspect of the Brezlev teachings, which is much in line with Traditional Orthodox Judaism, fear of punishment is a more easily accessible than fear or love of Heaven, G-d willing we should reach those levels and strive for those levels, but we should at least crawl if we aren't able to walk yet.

we say in kriyas shema "You should LOVE hasem your g-d"
Rashi comments on this passuk that one who serves out of love cannot be compared to one who serves from fear. The one who serves from fear is more likely to cast off the yolk of the master when it becomes too difficult. ( Devarim 6:5)

you should listen to the clip again. you're missing the point. The same Rebbe Nachman said that Loving HaShem is not attainable by most people. This is because in order to Love HaShem, you first need to attain the highest level of fear of HaShem (yirat haRomemut).

The fear of punishment is the very lowest level. We can imagine this as if we lived under a king. According to the law of kings, a king can murder (or more correctly have murdered) any one of his subjects for any reason. A king can travel through any property he wishes. A king can send you to war. Thus, the basic level of the subject in the kingdom is the level of fear. Everything in their life depends upon the king, even if they do not see him or ever meet him. Their property can be taken. Their lives can be taken. They can be imprisoned. And there is no recourse, since there is no authority higher than the king. However, when we are talking about Hashem and Judaism, the fear of punishment can actually invalidate one's entire service of Hashem, since, as the sages say, a convert is not accepted if the motivation is not pure. If the convert fears punishment in the afterlife or seeks reward in the afterlife, he is mainly thinking about his loss or gain. He is not thinking about, nor is he even concerned, with Hashem. He is only using his "service" as a means to an end. And therefore this fear of punishment is the most detrimental and selfish thing he could ever do. Getting back to the king analogy, since even if one is righteous and even if one is loving and loyal to the king, the king may take his life (legally) for any reason, even for fun, the subject should not care at all. This is just the way things are, and if you cannot change it, why worry about it? Thus, a motivation to do the will of the king for the king himself (without concern for yourself) is the ultimate way to serve.

If you research his life story you will find that he endured a tremendous amount of suffering. I believe this has left him uneasy and quick to rebuke.
He does not sugar coat the facts, he is person of truth.
Personally I think he is a great rabbi.
