The first story wasn't weird I have figured out what actually could have happened. It might be possible that the girl who wrote this story to you ; her dad's boss might have been going through the same route every now and then and he might be giving away exact ammount of money everytime he visited by himself but this time since another person gave the money to the begger that too 500 less, the begger himself figured out that the guy is keeping the rest of half of the ammount with him intentionally or unintentionally. This is why the girl's dad's boss insisted him to give away two 500 rupee notes despite of the fact that he asked his boss not to , because he might have been giving it to him like we usually do and say that we can't help all but we everyone can help one person atleast and this is how we can make this earth a better place to live on. This might be the reason why that begger knew he must have given two 500 rupee notes like usual days to him but he just gave him one and kept the rest. As simple as that.
