Today we explore more amazing waterfalls in Pongtung under Pynursla Sub Division in East Khasi Hills. It is about 60km from Shillong so it took us about 2 hours to reach as some sections of the road are in a bad condition due to the ongoing road widening works. We reached the area mid day and started hiking to the first waterfall, Wei Sted. After spending some time, we then proceeded to the next waterfall Ur Shati Falls.
The hike is an easy to moderate hike to the first waterfall but became a little more difficult to reach the second. Infact Gavin alone reached the bottom of the second waterfall.
