This is insane keep it up, just learning grasshopper this slow walkthrough makes a super difference in understanding the thought process

Wow...very impressive! I'm a newbie and could watch your videos all day. Say I wanted to build this parametric design by manually cutting these shapes made out of wood (which I would bc I don't own a CNC), how would I go about creating the dimensions for each piece or element? Does this make sense?

Just take it easy, and I believe you can do it. Success requires a process, so just keep going.💪

I have hundreds of videos on Creating Parametric Shapes. But your tutorials beat it all.
I have a question, is there any way to lay out each single element of this pattern on a 2D plane (each wall is spread out to a grid), so that you can print them yourself and, for example, create them from paper?

Very helpful tutorial! But for the parts in 7:01 I use Rhino 7 and the polyline and mirror cannot connect to loft together

For me worked to instal plugin Weaverbird and use the node 'Weaver's tile'. Dirty but did the thing and the connected parameters are still affecting the geometry

Just use Shift when you connect second geometry@@olivewang961

In Rhino 6 you hold shift and make the second conection.

hi, thank u for an amazing content. i was wondering how we can make the rectangular to use a custom pattern like a poly line or a black and white picture like in 3ds Max. i need this in order to finish my design for my master's degree. i have created my pattern and now i need my building's parametric look to follow that pattern. i have looked through internet and haven't found what need and in my country this software is not so popular so i don't really know how to learn that. your help is essential for my graduation. best regards

I really want to help you, but It's seem like I don't really understand your question.

@@bosrun_lrm well think we got 100 planes each 1cm*1cm then we want to put a group of lines on the the whole 100 of them now think one of the line is going from southwest to north west and others to other paths in this level we want the planes that are closest to the like rotate for 90 degrees and the ones after them rotate a little les lets say 70 and the next one 40 and next one dont change at all this is what i want
i have to assign a photovoltaic material to it and simulate it to see how much energy they produce and how much energy the whole building that im putting this on consumes
i can do the first step on 3ds max and second one on design building but it is not as accurate as rhino. thats why my master is not allowing me to do it there
is there a way to import 3ds max models into rhino ? that would be a lot easier
