Hello!:) Thank you for waiting for a new video! At this time, I have prepared the performance with Beethoven’s Ode to Joy (German: An die Freude) from Symphony No. 9. Liszt arranged Symphony No. 9 for solo piano. It is too long to play it here. And, it’s not easy to prepare whole parts. So, I rearranged it for this video. I think that lots of people know this melody. I hope that you guys like this performance. Thank you so much! Have a great day!
Have a great day
Can you please play moonlight sonata first movement next? I love your performance
Love these symphonies. Could you try Dvoraks Symphony Nr.9 if theres a proper piano arrangement?
It’s very good, congratulations ❤️

Each time I listen to this, I feel unity and peace in the world. A feeling where everyone treats one another as brother and sister. Beethoven truly was ahead of his time. Thanks for playing this.
Beethoven's pieces are really awesome:) Thank you for your words!💕
Casually droping Liszt's ode to joy....
Sign of a great pianist.

This is isnt liszt's arrangement. Liszt's arrangement is WAYYY harder. Thiss is Kassia's own arrangement which is much easier.
This takes my breath away. I well know Beethoven's 9th and the Liszt arrangement, but bravo...especially 3:08 onwards...stunning!

Beethoven's 9th Symphony -
An absolute staple in the Classical Canon. A brilliant composition by Beethoven on its own, and to take it a step forward, a brilliant transcription, arrangement, and an extraordinary performance by Kassia.
Ode to Joy was the first piece I ever learned on the piano, and this performance brings back so many memories.
Astonishing, is it not? How this piece is still considered one of the greatest symphonic works of all time, enduring the centuries since its publication and performance in 1824, just under three years before the composer's death in 1827.
Contradicting the rest of the piece, which is in D Minor, Ode to Joy is in the key of D Major. This is possibly Beethoven's greatest work and is, by far, one of the greatest pieces in the entirety of the Classical Era, and, dare I say, of all time.
Bravo, Kassia.
Beethoven is my favorite pianist.
@@ojsojs6004 *Composer :)
The same views from me. Indeed, the best piece ever written.
What a beautiful thing to listen to while playing fallout, thanks Kassia
Thank you so much, Franz!:)💕
Yes kassia is god
I didn't know this piece got so intense! Those octaves are crazy, well done.
You may think the octaves is hard, but the right hand chords are harder, Im saying this as someone who tried to learn this
The octaves are way harder than the right hand chords. Also this is a simplified version of the passage, in the original liszt score the left hand plays always octaves while here there are some single note runs
Whenever I hear it I instantly think of the party at "Nakatomi Plaza"
@@Bohh574 I have the liszt version here with me and I don't see what you mean. It's practically the same.
Nvm you're right lol.
An incredible rendition of such a popular piece, making sure it stays enjoyable for anyone, no matter how many times they’ve heard it. We really appreciate all the work you put into these videos Kassia!!
Thanks all the time, Logan! I am so happy to hear that. It means a lot to me!:)💕
Symphony 9 Choral, the best piece of music ever written. The proof, that Lüdwig Van Beethoven was a true genius and a maestro. Bravo, Kassia! 💕

Thank you so much all the time, Vuk!!:)💕
This piece always calms me when I tap into hopelessness that humanity will never tackle challenges like climate change and create a more just society.
Especially when they sing "und alle Menschen werden Brüder" it really warms my heart
Ya the climate changes...
Lol climate change ok
I absolutely love that bassoon countermelody. It was interpreted really skillfully on the piano
I was listening to this piece at full volume & my next door neighbor liked it so much that he threw a brick through my window so he could hear it better! I feel so honoured by their genuine appreciation for this masterpiece. 🎇

finally decades waiting for this song🤩🤩
So happy this was chosen as EU hymn 🇪🇺
Possibly the simplest most beautiful piece of music ever written.
This whole symphony is so long and hard that there are only a few recordings of it. Some people consider it the hardest liszt piece ever
For me the hardest it's Etude 4(1838) even it name it's very hard.
@@ItibitydetskuIt sure is extremely hard to play (the part at the begining of 2nd half is impossible to play at original tempo with only the left hand unless your name is Liszt or Alkan). However, just in this set of etudes, no 6 is even more difficult because each variation use a different technique. But really, these etudes of 3-5 minutes are really less exhausting than Ode to Joy that is equaly or more challenging but is 10 times longer. Even pieces like Réminiscences de Don Juan (15-17 min) is a step above a single Paganini etude
3:19 One of the greatest clutches on the history of piano and Beethovenian Classics
I love your videos kassia! I really love your arrangement of this piece 🤍🤍
