    If you're excited for Arber, get ready for Florian. He will be a key depth player for many years. The NHL isn't ready for the Xhehkaj brothers

      Florian will sit in Mike Pezzeta chair soon. Habs needs a dynamic 4th line who can grind the other team with a pace. Florian will play 4th line, not Arber who has to become a role player at defence on the 6 men squad. Logan Mailloux has more up side than Arber. Again tonight, Tony ideas are silly,

      I think Florian could be,... More than a depth player.. It all depends on his skating. From what I've seen at development camp, for what it's worth, His skating has gotten better. The rest is gravy. He's physical, plays his position at center well, has great hands, and isn't afraid to go to the net. Neither Pazzetta, D'vorak, Evans will all be on the outs. I see Roy as the teams 3rd line center. Hmm.. Just throwing this out there, nothing concrete. Slav, Suzuki, Caufield..... Hage, F Xhekaj, Demidov.... Newh, Roy, Dach,... Tuch, Beck, Kapanen.... That's potentially one heck of a line up..

      Going out on a limb, Guhle will get traded. I see the Habs eventually favoring Struble for his toughness. Guhle is talented, but isn't exactly the toughest out there, and is injury prone due mostly of his own account. He has a tendency to place himself in vulnerable positions to get hit in a bad way.

  • @habs7646
    @habs7646 Месяц назад +6

    hilarious when people say that the habs are small. Slaf and Dach are 6'4 220-230 pounds beast, suzuki is 5'11 205, Guhle Mailloux Xhekaj Reinbacher are all over 6'3. Demidov 6'1, Hage 6'2, Roy 6'0

    Ive been a Habs fan for 50 years, and i honestly can't remember the last time they had so much young talent in the pipeline that in the next year or 2 at the most, a trade becomes inevitable because we simply don't have the room. I'm glad i don't have to be the one deciding who goes.

    Assuming Hutson QB's the PP as has been suggested, Matheson will get much less ice time and points given he had 28 on the PP last season. His trade value will diminish so now is the time to trade him and extend Savard's contract as he won't require long term and huge $$$$. This will also open up a position for another young "D".
    Should Habs go 11-7 then the only "D" that makes sense to play upfront from time to time is Matheson (if around) given his skating ability and at times his liability on defence.
    Arber cannot play upfront as he isn't fast enough and Hutson playing up front given his small frame, would get punished by opposing forwards. The players that Tony & Pierre mentioned who moved about from defence to forward were much bigger and physical than Hutson e.g. Chartraw, Burns and even Jimmy Roberts who was a lot heavier than Hutson.

    The reality is ... what are the chances the other team is going to take a cheap shot at Montreal's smaller players like Suzuki , Caufield, Hutson , Roy when they know "The Sherriff " will not be happy ?

    Don’t need 11-7 to throw Hutson on a 4th line when the time is right.
    Also if they need a goal, the 4th line wouldn’t be the line to put him out there with.
    I much prefer running Wifi on the 4th line in an 11-7 scenario perhaps on the road if a forward is hurt and can’t bring a replacement in from Laval.

    in an ideal world over the next 2 seasons as there are too many bodies for the available seats both in Montreal and Laval, the habs need to trade 3-4 d-men. Savard would be one, and then do they trade Matheson next year (or this year ) and 2 of their young players. They are DEEEEEEEEP on D, too deep for practical purposes because they all are in the same age group, but they need to shore up their offence so they have the goods to get them
