That's the nature of being a metal core/metal band and putting true art above the vapid. I can't name all of the deserving bands that have come and gone because they wouldn't sell out.
The harmony in his voice... The energy of the chorus... The strong contrast of the soft violin intro to the super heavy breakdown... This is truly a masterpiece!
This band is getting better and better at a rapid pace, it‘s kinda scary. Temptation and this are probably my absolute highlights this year along with Sleep Token‘s Alkaline
Eddie is a virtuoso to the highest degree, amazing violinist, incredible range of vocals in both clean/harsh, and on top of that a amazing actor as the cherry on top, Imminence is something special, wish more knew about them.
You forgot photographer and videodirector. Have directed most of imminence music videos. And imminence is indipendent and runs everything they do on their own + packs and ships their own merch store. He also has his other band for the past year, bear mountain park.
Imminence became my Architects replacement band LOL but now they are just simply my favorite band. Their attention to detail and the artistic creativity of this band is amazing. And that f'n violin always gets me!

49 year old progressive metal head and musician here. Only the 2nd song and video I’ve had the pleasure of seeing and hearing from this band and I’m shook. The last couple years have completely changed my old mind with regards to the younger generation being able to create moving metal music. I’m so glad I was wrong. There is a lot of talent out there with the younger metal heads and I’m proud of you guys! This song and video particularly moved me I am now a fan of Imminence.

My dad made violins up until his passing in 1990 and whenever I hear this band it makes me think of him. This song is so beautiful and they are on a whole different level than all other metalcore bands.

That scream at the end. Makes my hair stand on end every time. Hitting some crazy vibration/frequency that smashes some chord deep within me. Freaky. Visceral. Haunting. Sorrowful. Desperate. But also somehow absolutely brings this feeling back of having conquered something so deep and dark within your soul. Almost like looking back on your journey through the Dark Night of the Soul, just as you’re crawling out. Exhausted, ripped apart but reborn and alive. Eddie flippen paints stories with every note he breaths or plays. Insane the trip he can take you on. ❤
How did I not know about this band?! The vocals, the violin, instrumentals in general, the unique way of setting the tone for the theme, incredible. Can’t wait to hear more from them and see how far they can and will get
