Personally bro, I think you need to invest in a enclosed trailer. Protect the 300 from being damaged while traveling and of course outta sight, outta mind.

At least it happened were it did. Instead of on the interstate at highway speeds that could have cost you to lose both of the car's and got you guys hurt. Glad you guys and the car's are ok especially you guy's.

Perfect example of why any new purchase should thoroughly be checked over bye the purchaser or have someone with you trust with the knowledge needed to do it for you. Also a huge reminder for myself.
Dealer is supposed to go over just like car dealers. I felt something shady about owner when he was buying it because even one of the tail lights weren't working when got hooked up to trailer.
It’s a simple trailer, no need to find some random shade tree mechanic to do a 20 point inspection.This is on the dealer.

Another thing you can do so your splitter doesn’t scrape is you can leave the trailer attached to the hitch and wind the leg down and when you drive the front of the car on the ramps then you can bring the leg back up and it will raise the front of the car up

Put your trailer on bags and you’ll have a much better situation gettin that beauty onto that trailer!
Just keep the trailer on the ball , put a 4x4 block under the trailer jack and crank it up to decrease the load angle. You can buy some ramps also instead of the wood planks .But the first option won’t cost any money except the 4x4 block.

2021 trailer unless the dealer lied.
H&H doesn't make the full aluminum on their 2021 model trailers under 20', so it was either a carryover trailer or the dealer lied and sold a used trailer. Same trailer is still for sale on the dealers website claiming new as well.

Trailers and big trucks aren't like cars. They're not necessarily "road ready". You GOT to do your own checking and preventative maintenance. Long ago I was hired to move a 55' oceangoing steel boat from Ft Worth to Houston, all I was supposed to do was hook up and go. I specifically asked him, is this ready to go, have you checked the lugs? He says yep, all checked all ready. After leaving I-45 to go east on I-610 I see a wheel and tire overtaking me, yep, from the trailer. After retrieving the wheel from the attempted thief and checking we found all 8 lug studs were broken off in the hub. The lug holes in the wheel were severely wallered (lack of a better word) out, they weren't tight from the start. Be careful, you're the one out there on the road. Any accidents are on you.
for as nice of cars you build and create you should know that mid wheel base towing is the least desirable method for that wieght, and and enclosed trailer will always protect the investment, cause less eyes on you . no diss, just my professional opinion
