  • And I am back! Sorry for the long delay! However, I have a number of videos in the queue for you all. In this video, I press four high grade newsstand copies of Amazing Spider-man for my good friend The 9.9 Newsstand @The9.9Newsstand - two of the comics are very rare indeed. See how we work "miracles" to achieve high grades. At the end of the video, guess the grades and then head over of Manu's Instagram to see the detailed results and other great content!

It's neat to see the behind the scenes of the magic you do on these books. Simply amazing ❤

Thanks! Yup, Manu knows how to pick them! Often times collectors don't realize that we may pre-screen a dozen or more raw copies before we find one that is worth submitting. It may sound like a hassle, but it can become a fun part of the game!

This is an awesome video. Thank you for sharing! I'm definitely going to go through the archives =) I've been interested in cleaning and pressing, but there are so many different resources and opinions, and I'm never sure what's good and what's bad.

The CPR guide is SUPER straightforward. Some may claim that it is conservative, but the results are tried and true and if you follow them, there is little risk to books. Check out the FaceBook page and meet the community. There are lots of people just starting out!

Very nice comic books. What kind of presser do you use? I need to just start making my collection nice and sharp before sending to cgc.

Thanks! I have what is referred to as a "dry mount press". It is a Bienfang/Seal 210M. However, most people use a few different models of tshirt presses that work great.

ive got a super high grade mark jewelers of 346 and 347 and also did have one of 311 but sold it unfortunately. I was lucky enough to come across an excellent collection of high grade ASM jewelers. Also got a bunch of Web of and then several jewelers of other titles around the same time frame. I love these late mark jewelers, they are the most rare. Especially 1991, which is the last year of mark jewelers as far as i can tell, and also the most rare. Its quite possible there could have been a few in early 1992 but i have not found any so far.
