Pantheon will be my last voice line reaction but I hope I did a better job with the lore side of things compared to Kindred, Aatrox and Pike 😅

why is this ur last voiceline reaction? I think u did an amazing job and I loved ur reactions.
they call him Pantheon because he took up the old dead god's name as his title. He considers his loss at the top of Mt.Targon his death so he would live on as The Pantheon through force of will.
Aatrox cannot die in a literal sense, when he gets "killed" its the host's body he took over dies. (He shapes it to his looks, that's why it looks the way it is) his soul just goes back to his sword, his prison. He must wait for another mortal to try and wield the blade for him to take over their body.
The league community can be very demanding xD, but the work u put on this video, shows a lot of respect. Hopefully more people can discover the huge universe that exists around this game.
Judging from the length of the video, this is way more than I'd ever ask from anyone to sit through. Kudos to you for doing this but I am questioning whoever made you consider doing this lol.
haha I appreciate this! There were quite of few comments stating that it was pointless to watch voice lines without understanding the lore of a character. I tried to give it a shot with Pantheon which resulted in this video 😆
@@YayReacts Yes, it is important to have some context but this was i think more than people expected (I'm not going to complain the more the better if you are invested in the lore, but if you find it too much of a time commitment to listen to all that lore) if you do another voiceline reaction, I believe just the introduction/biography you get on the official lore page of the league (Universe.leagueoflegends) should be enough for the majority of champions to know what they are about, and it is generally a quick read (maybe 2 pages of a book in length).
@@YayReactsnot all wrong, if know character lore or biography, it will tell how relate to voiceline upon other character, or what they think. Reading lore is great and we have a lot of champion to learn, if don't know anything about lore, you will understand a little of voicelines

Just to clarify about Darkin:-
Shurima was a massive dessert empire ruled by Azir. They created "the sun disk" that can turn their best soldiers into ascendant warriors using divine power. They were also called god-warriors. And Aatrox was one of them. When the void (that's where Kai'sa is from) tried to enter the world of Runeterra these god warriors fought against it, led by Aatrox. After many sacrifices, they managed to hold back the void creatures but the void also corrupted the god warriors leaving a lingering voice in their heads. Soon they were driven mad and they fought against themselves. Azir the emperor was the only one that could keep them under control. But when his best friend Xereth (the one who fought Pantheon in the short story) betrayed him and killed him these god warriors went on rampage. They learned to use blood magic to shape their form and became Darkin. That's how Aatrox was born.
After seeing the destruction being caused by the Darkin warriors, the aspect of Twilight who is the strongest of aspects gave the tools to mortals that can trap Darkin warriors inside their weapons. So the sword is Aatrox not the body. Aatrox took control of the body of a mortal who dared to wield his sword. That's how he resurrected and now he seeks revenge.

Aurelion sol Is not an aspect. He is a cosmic being that goes through the universe and makes stars. Once when He visited runetera, He was tricked into putting on a crown that bound him to the will of the aspect of war and He was enslaved.
I still call Pantheon, Atreus simply because this is the final form that the Pantheon had before he died. Also because the Pantheon we have now IS Atreus's face. Aurelion Sol is basically called a space dog(blame Zoe). Lunari are Diana's people, Solari are Leona's people, Rakor(?) are Atreus's people.
Also yes Necrit is very detailed with lore to the point where Riot Games themselves honored him with the Map of Runeterra and his own character in The Ruined King game.
The last part in the voice lines video was still Pantheon. Those lines were just exclusive for his "Dragonslayer" skin. Aurelion Sol was shown a few times in the lore videos. He's the huge celestial dragon :D
Great video by the way. Thank you for making these. The league lore is quite complex. There are so many areas in the world, so many characters. Some of the lore is changed or added when they rework an already existing character. It's a lot :D
it is my understanding that an aspect is a stellar God, and aspect hosts are people used by said Gods to be able to interact with runeterra. Atreus was used as a host by the aspect of war, who was then slain, leaving Atreus with some of the aspect's strength. The term is used interchangably for both it seems, as he says 'they made you their pet' to the host, but also talks to Zoe like she is the God herself.
Soraka is a celestial who has given up her immortality for a physical body so that she can spread compassion to the people of runeterra and protect them from harm. The catch is that her power is so immense that it is burning her body from the inside, killing her. In-game, this is shown as her losing her own health when healing allies. I like the line that pantheon says to her (1:03:41), because he clearly admires her in a way despite her being a celestial.

Basically, there are two types of "Warrior Gods".
1) The "Avatars" of Targon: They are people whom the Gods of Targon (mostly represented by celestial bodies, Sun, Moon, Stars, War, Twilight, etc.) consider Worthy and make them their Vessels. Simply put, an "Avatar" is a Vessel that holds the power of a God. Example: Leona (Sun), Diana (Moon), Zoe (Twilight), Pantheon (War), Taric (Protector).
2) The "Ascended" of Shurima: Basically, the people of Shurima found a way to Channel the power of the Sun (remember that the Sun represents an Aspect, therefore the sun has Divine qualities) into a Warrior, Therefore that Warrior achieves Divine powers, but being "imperfect" His figure is transformed, mostly with animal features. (Like the Egyptian Gods, which is their reference). These are the "Warrior Gods" of Shurima. Example: Nasus, Renekton, Azir, Xerath.
But there is a third "Group" that must be mentioned, and they are the Darkin.
3 Darkin: Basically, the Darkin are Ascended of Shurima, who fought against the Void for Decades, without a leader because Azir "Died". (Let us remember that the Void has the quality of Corrupting the body and mind). Therefore, from suffering so much, fighting, being corrupted, seeing their friends die, etc., this group of Ascended Ones created such a great Trauma that they became Edgys. Not only that, but one of the Ascended Healers Developed Forbidden Magic that "Hemomancy" gave them absolute Immortality. These Tried to Dominate the World, but when The Aspects of Targon considered that they were already a problem, they annihilated them all, and those who learned Hemomancy because they were immortal were locked in their Weapons, but, if a Living Being touches the Weapons of a Darkin, The Darkin, like a parasite, invades his mind and immediately begins to kill to use Hemomancy and begin to rebuild his old Body with the Blood and Flesh of his victims.
I like your approach to this and the opinions you shared and I really enjoyed the video. I understand that you don't want to go down the rabbit hole of the lore too much but it seemed you were genuinely interested which I liked. I ADORED this video and would love to see more of you reacting to the lore. I understand that you want to watch Arcane, but I do hope that you circle back and dig your teeth into the lore of League of Legends. The world is so vast and beautiful and listening to the voice lines from these characters can be so rewarding.

After this story comes the cinematic called The Call which shows how Pantheon regain his aspect powers and goes to fight the celestials
It doesn't show how it just shows him using the aspects power instead of clinming the mountain again

when it says aspect/darkin it means hes referring to either aspects (people "blessed" or controlled by actual aspects) or darkin (void corrupted ascendants). (He hates both alot)
when aatrox stabbed THE Pantheon it killed the aspect and Atreus regained control of his body. doing what he does he got back up, lived the fight, reignited The Pantheon aspect's weapons with willpower, cut Aatrox's arm, and became Pantheon: Atreus become Aspect-like to fight against the aspects and the demons
I never realized how complex the lore is until I watch someone learn it.
Gods (more accurately called Celestials) are not aspects, gods created earth because it's the "shine" that fights against the Voids "darkness". Aspects are earthly beings chosen to weild the power of the gods, by the gods themselves. Gods sort of transfer their powers in portions, and sometimes directly posses the earthly being. Leona and Diana are 2 aspects that still retain their human memories, but weild the power of the Sun and Moon Celestials respectively. Atreus was possesed by the God of War (Celestial of War), Pantheon. Aatrox stabbed Atreus' body SO HARD the god (pantheon) died. Atreus regained control over his body, and through sheer will condensed the leftover godly power into himself, becoming now then new Pantheon, the new "god of war" while still being a human, a mortal.
Darkins were known as the Ascended. The Ascended were soldiers infused with celestial powers, which made them morph into a different form and become stronger. The Ascended lost their way, they became corrupt and learnt blood magic, went shit bat crazy and now they are called Darkin. There are still some Ascended that did not become Darkin (Nasus).
The Celestials wanted to stop the wild rampage of The Darkin, they sent one of their Aspects (the aspect of twilight) to seal them into weapons.
Now, when a living being touches a "darkin weapon" the darkin inside posseses the living being. Darkins are now weapons. Aatrox is a blade, cant die, it's indestructible.
Gods/Celestials are beings that posses/shares their power to earthly beings willingly, these earthly beings empowered by ONE particular God/Celestial are called Aspects.
Ascended are earthly beings infused with celestial power (no particular Celestial/God, just celestial mojo).
Darkin are old Ascended that went crazy, learned Blood Magic (that's why they are so red in color) and got sealed in a weapon, only freeing themselves when a living being touches it.
The scale of power would be:
Celestials
Aspects and Darkin (some darkin aren't that strong, but some are nigh unstoppable)
Ascended (Xerath and Azir are the only 2 Ascended that could be ranked on pair with the Aspects and strongest of Darkin)

This is what I’ve been saying for years, the short stories (new and old, red-conned or not), the videos, lore/backstory, in-game story/story events, skins, voice lines/interactions is a content mine. You could easily do an hour long video on all of them and still have more lore to go

"First Encounter - Aspect/Darkin" - this line he says to any Aspect or Darkin champion he encounters in the game; so that would be Taric, Zoe, Diana, Leona, Aurelion Sol (Probably?), Kayle, Morgana, who are the Aspects. The Darkin are Aatrox, Naafiri, Varus, and Rhaast (Kayn in the game has a transformation gimmick, where either he or the darkin wins based on what archetype champions you attack).

When you say this is your last voice lines reaction, do you mean before going into Arcane? Or like ever? 😱Also holy that's a big video for Pantheon! He is in the top 3 best voice lines.
The last few days I've been prepping ''Alternate Universe'' themed voice lines. They are small and compact, they'll feature the best quotes from skinlines in the game that have their own lore detached from the main lore of Runeterra. These won't require any knowledge, you'd just be enjoying 1-2 minutes of the best of some champions that got really cool skins with custom voices, accompanied with mostly animated backgrounds, ambiance and subtitles. 🤩

Skin Spotlights is a great channel for voice lines because they are mostly complete and in order, but in my humble opinion, you would have enjoyed ''Just Another Nobody's'' version better. Him and Pantheon's Bakery are 2 great channels for voices with ambiance. They don't cover ALL the voices, but they do it in style! 😎 Just letting you know in case you cover more after Arcane!

I don't think you necessarily need to know the lore to understand a champions purpose and general idea, I think you did really good with pantheon and fiddlesticks even though you didn't know them. References to other champions are the only thing I can think of that you'd need knowledge of in order to understand them.

Just wanna say, a GOOD portion of people who comment the lore related stuff.. Either don't know that EVERYTHING is canon now OR they only know of old lore because they're butthurt that something got changed that they didn't like so they stop following it 🤣 A large portion of people's knowledge of the lore is heavily outdated. And that's primarily due to Riot constantly changing the lore prior until recently & them making everything canon/REWRITING the lore againnnn Lol So just ignore the weirdos who get all mad/butthurt about something. Back to watching
I dotn know but I like when people react to lore stuff after they watch theme/trailer/voice lines/maybe even abilities cuz this champ is still kinda mistery then lore and necrit video cuz if you do this before there is no effect wow

hope if you decide yo do another voicelines reaction you do aurelion sol. Pantheon, Aurelion and Aatrox are the three characters wronged by the Celestial aspects/gods, and each one of them chose his own way to right that wrong.
