It would be easy to fall asleep till the fire went out and it got cold. About 2 hours. Blessings. Lay off the cute pills, your taking too many.

Having climbed Fuji, that’s exactly the distance I wish I had chosen to admire it from lol. Was in Tokyo back in 2012 and my Japanese friends all talked up climbing Fuji as a fun, must-do thing while I was there. I’m not a mountain climber or anything so I thought they were crazy, but everyone said that it was more like a hike than mountain climbing and that old people and kids do it all the time. Even the promotional materials made it look like a friendly nature walk of sorts. Did the climb and it was miserable imo. Everyone totally undersold the physical challenge of it. It’s basically like being on a stairmaster for 8 hours straight except the stairmaster is volcanic ash. To this day I’ve occasionally run into others who climbed Fuji and probably half of them describe the exact same experience I had. We just laugh about how the Japanese have such a strong cultural love for Fuji-san and are too polite to say anything negative about it so you’ll never know what you’re really getting into.
OK, how many people here have had a drum can bath in front of Mount Fuji while drinking sake and balancing a rubber duck on their head? Raise your hands!
