He said a couple of things I firmly believe in till this day because the age of "working hard" is for trying to be well-rounded and is more of padding for you to feel good about certain non-outcomes.
A specialist only works on what he needs to. You must adapt to exactly what is being asked because you can do 1000 leet code questions and still never learn to think algorithmically.
It really cuts the fat. Instead of overloading yourself, you specialize yourself.

As someone who's been 6+ months unemployed it is really inspiring to hear that Omayo patiently waited and grinded for 17 months to get that dream offer.
It makes me feel like I shouldn't just settle for the first company that comes my way. Loving this content!

@@namanhkapur I enjoyed your previous videos with short interview snippets on experience and pay. This one stands out for its in-depth conversation-your insightful questions and the interviewee’s authenticity made it exceptional. Moving forward, it might be interesting to see whether you’ll continue focusing on content or still aim for a SWE role, sharing any challenges and lessons along the way. A video showing your daily grind-like whether you’ll stay in NYC or consider moving back to Houston to save costs-could also resonate well. Great work keeping it engaging and entertaining-keep it up!

Hi Namanh, how do you usually connect with these people in tech field? How significant has networking been in your job search? I’d really appreciate any tips on building a strong network.
For a bit of background, I recently graduated with a CS degree and am currently working remotely as a software developer in Canada. Since my current pay isn’t great, I’m exploring ways to advance, either through upskilling or networking, and would love to hear your suggestions! I am particularly struggling to network with other tech professionals.

Stop with the clickbait titles. You’re implying that this guy went from 0 to 363k. Which is untrue altogether.
This doesn’t do right by the people who actually start at the bottom.
