Hey, I got the same gimbal just yesterday. Thanks for recommending it! I understand 5.0 Anti-shaking Algorithm & the IP4X Splash Proof part which is great, and it is easy to "Smooth Tilt-Pan", but what how do you achieve "Hyperzoom" effect? Or are these just examples of how you shot the clip? Great vid, btw!
Hello mate! What GoPro do you use it with? As far as I remember, that has been created by setting the gimbal to be on plain level no matter what movement I make and just walking backwards a couple of meters while holding the gimbal as still as possible. Additionally, keyframing has also been added in post. What is keyframing? Well.. not sure how to explain it but here it goes: Your footage is 4K, ok? Ok. Well, in a desktop editing software there's always an option to keyframe. So you set your file to start from 3840x2160 resolution and while playing, end up in a zoomed in position of 1920x1080, which gives this sensation. It is basically dolly zoom but inverted. Also, I have not been using this gimbal every since I got the iSteady MT2 (is a lot more expensive but it works with any camera\phone or action cam). There's a video of it on the channel as well :D I still think gimbals are good to have around in low light... and lately I feel dark vibes :))
@@JustaHERO Hello. GoPro Hero 10 Black. Yes, I’ve heard the term keyframing, but never used it (I think I watched a tutorial or two about how to achieve it some years ago). My confusion came from the fact that I thought that it is a function that can the Gimbal alone do. Thanks for the reply!
Might have to check manual for that. Have not been using it since HERO 11 came out.. I even changed gimbals meanwhile and been using the HOHEM MT2 for HERO 12 low-light footage :D
It does have full 360 degrees rotation, but I probably didn't featured it. Video is quite old so I got a bit better at showing off features from HOHEM in the newest videos :D
You got hohem to sponsor you! a super small channel with terrible shots. You had to add the black bars to cover up how much you cropped the image from hyper stab...nah..
First hate comment I got since... a couple of years ago when I started creating stuff haha. Thank you! Additionally, this video is 2 years old and if you check the channel overall, videos have improved. Well, from my point of view at least. They might have not, from your pov. Related to black bars, I always loved the 21:9 aspect ration and still continuong to do so. I have almost never used standard 16:9 and will probably never use it either. Anyway, thanks for the comment! You're my first 🥰
You know what it is though, all these videos with clearly sponsored content making half-assed reviews and being bias. that promotes a culture of distrust and fundamentaly lays a filthy ground for clips in general. I think it finally boiled over for me. Think about it, you're sponsored to give a positive review of a product and by showcasing how stable the shot is and not reveal the technical aspects of it where the image is cropped down the more you shake during the shot, hiding that with fancy black bars is just sad. Now, if you claim that That was not the reason you should not even have a channel for visible arts. Talk of what you know is an old saying. @@JustaHERO
