I took the easy way out ! I wrapped four strands of brown blend and two strands of brown snake on the outer edges with same "D" rings. I made the rattler tails too. It looks great ! Too bad I can't show everyone here but no pics are uploadable ! Thanks for the idea !
What other colors can I substitute ? I have camo tan, camo green. tan, and more. I don' t want to order more cord now. I want to start it right away ! Otherwise I have to wait for shipping of 7 -10 days time .Thanks. I just went over your colors and I can not find anything called "BROWN SNAKE" ! What is the deal ??????
Technical issue on our end. That color should now be visible in our store. If you don't want to purchase more cord at the moment, you can certainly use other similar colors for this project. There are over 30 different species of rattlesnake after all-each with their own unique color pattern.
I measured mine at 1⅜". I think it would make a cool rifle sling, and you'll likely want to jig/rig something long enough to keep it taught while you weave.
I just started the hatband but when I reach a certain point , your hand is in the way and I screw it up ! I tried 3 times and no luck ! I am giving up ! There are better ways to do this in a book I have called "Paracord Fusion Ties" ! I am going with one of those ! Thanks anyway !
Maybe 2-3 feet of each color on each side. You wouldn't want to cut it much closer than that on a project this size. You MIGHT be able to get away with about 22 ft. of each color. It really depends on how tight you tie your knots, what brand your cord is, etc.
This looks really nice. Rattlesnake head would be really cool to add. Thanks for sharing it.
Good timing! Stay tuned next week.

Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. BTW, you can also use it as a really short tow strap.
Nice
What is this style of hat called w the ribbed brim for shaping?
I am curious. Most spools come with a thousand feet of cord. What is the longest weave possible out of it, in cobra or snake knot etc ?
I have the same color hat ! Cool ! BUT my hat circumference is 25 1/2 inches. Do I use the same amount of Brown Snake as you show ?
J,aimerais avoir la liste du materiel en français ou par ecrit svp merci!

@@ParacordPlanet Thanks !
Hi, I just had a quick question. How wide is this band? I just thought that this is the perfect pattern for a gun sling.
I measured mine at 1⅜". I think it would make a cool rifle sling, and you'll likely want to jig/rig something long enough to keep it taught while you weave.
@@DickTerpstra thank you friend
I have plenty of rings but no black "D" rings ! .Can I use rings instead ?. It looks like I can but I am not sure. Thanks again.
Practically speaking, any rings should work okay. It will just look a little different in the end.
Somehow, I missed this when it was released. Did you ever make a rattlesnake's head for this hat band???
Not yet, but let us know if that is something you would like to see in the future! 🪐
Is that paracord 550? Its very beautiful!! I love it !! 😍
Yes it is. Thank you!
@@ParacordPlanet i'm gonna try that pattern for a bracelet ...thank you so much...greetings from the Netherlands 😍
What size jig are you using
Using a 30" Jig. Link can be found in the description.
I love it but it's too complicated for me 😅

It looks like you had a lot of cord left over at the end. (several feet on both sides). How much cord did you really use for a twenty six inch band?

@@ParacordPlanet Thanks. That's what it looked like to me. Great project, thanks for sharing.
@@brianschleinkofer6251 Thank you!

please, always, provide color numbers. Purchased what colors you named and the tan is incorrect. Disappointed....
I agree. It doesn't make sense why they didn't create a kit for this.
