Bobby Knight is one career that was destroyed by one video of choking Neil Reed and the second when he was shocked he hit a college player was the final straw.
I’ve said it before; I’ll say it again…the problem with Jerry Seinfeld berating the audience for laughing at Michael Richards was that he made it seem as though _Michael_ was the victim.
I don’t think Jerry was trying to paint Richards as the victim, but telling them not to laugh when Ricahrds was trying to apologize. Yeah the apology is still cringe & what he said to the Laugh Factory audience was hideous
No. The problem with Michael Richards' apology was that it was being done on a comedy show, which is easily one of the worst choices to do if you're trying to be taken seriously. Seinfeld isn't trying to paint Michael as "the victim"--he just wants the matter to taken more seriously, because to him--Richards is sincerely trying to apologize, and he wants to support him. And that's a key word: support. Not defend.
Never liked Seinfeld or the show because it is completely overrated and played throughout T.V. that makes no sense plus, the whole Michael Richards incident just adds the cherry on top to the hate I have for Seinfeld. Lame comedian equals bad jokes which is the epitome of Seinfeld.
