This version of Sephiroth sure loves a flashy entrance.
It is more than that, he absorbed THE Meteor… if you played the OG, his main goal was to make the meteor hit the planet…

@@Robert99909no it wasn’t? He wanted the meteor to hit the planet so the planet would send TONS of lifestream to try and heal the wound. He would then absorb the entirety of the lifestream and become a god. How tf would one absorb a meteor?

It was in remake too, after the first reactor bombing.

His entrance in Remake was so good, they didn't even bother making a new one😂.

The delivery of “good Aerith. Pray.” Was just perfect. Gave me chills the way he said pray.
Sephy’s VA was far better in this game than Remake.

We return in this area in OG. So they'll let us explore in the third part.

It’s so beautiful
It would have made the pacing of the end of the game really odd. The temple dungeon was very tedious and they were ready to get to the moment. I’m ok with it.
“It’s upon us” this whole scene gives me chills. I kept having to play it back on my TV because the visuals were some of the best I’ve ever seen on console and Sephiroth’s delivery was haunting. I try to put myself in the character’s shoes seeing that demon just appear right before them in that manner.

Of all the things to criticize, the music has to be far down the list in this game.
@@thatstheway2429 yet we are free too and I'm going to as well. The OG OST is a masterpiece. This area was one of the most memorable. City of the Ancients. The song was made of echoes and it was genius. It instilled awe and fear. This is just flashy.
