This movie is great, Kristens acting is amazing. I wish more people got to see it.
This is a major reason I do these edits--most of Kristen's films are small budget indie films which many moviegoers don't get to see.
Imagine living the life of a butterfly. I watched this movie yesterday. Just to clarify something. Kristen was completely robbed for at least a nomination. To show a performance like this at the age of 17 is impressive. The music, atmosphere and style used in this film are exceptional. There are no special answers, no explanations. There are no perfect tips and tricks for a better life, except to live each day as if it were your last.
A fellow fan who has been following Kristen's career for nearly two decades keeps on telling me that Kristen's best performance to date was as Georgia in The Cake Eaters. Another performance which she also got snubbed by the Oscars was as Valentine in Clouds of Maria, where she won several awards from the most prestigious film critics groups such as the New York Film Critics Circle, National Society of Film Critics and Los Angeles Film Critics Association. So hopefully the Academy gives her the recognition she deserves by nominating her for her role in Spencer, where the critics are again raving about her acting, this time for her portrayal of Princess Diana. I watched this today and although I really liked Kristen’s performance in Twilight I might honestly like this more. Crazy how good of a indie actor she was at a young age. I’m surprised this wasn’t among her top 5 personal favourite films. This movie gives me Nova Scotia, Canada vibe. I’m gonna have to watch more of her movies I was also surprised to find out today she was that kid in panic room.
