Amazingly beautiful video! I, too, have never heard this cover. I love how you put the section from 2:35 - 3:10 together. Cutting the "As long as I have reason to hope" part from the first proposal between the "I wouldn't say no" and "but would you say yes?" parts of the hilltop scene perfectly captures both Anne Lister's and the audience's (at least mine) flickering spark of hope fighting its way against all of the doubt that Ann would actually say yes to her.
The songs chosen for these senes are absolutely brilliant for two people who are straight in real life are amazing at this acting it really hit my heart they made it seem so real it was fantastic they are so natural at it, they made it appear as a real love story xxxx
This made me cry as they had finally got together but only had 6 years of happiness. Ann Walker had tickled her demons and finally committed, after Anne’s death she just couldn’t cope and no one even tried to help her. So very sad.
Thank you for watching! Yeah Ann Walker’s story is very sad. She didn’t get to be with Anne Lister very long and there was no one there to help her once she was gone.
