Wow! Thanks for including me in your list! I think your advice is spot on, for all language learning! First, learn the language from a native, who teaches it to you in your language (so you're not wasting time trying to understand the grammar while you are also trying to understand the language!). Then listen to people from your own country/language who speak the foreign language fluently. Finally, just enjoy whatever content you find interesting in the foreign language! I send a lot of people your way for that awesome step 2! Un abbraccione forte forte, ciao, Manu
This video came at the right time. I've been using Dueling to learn Italian for the past 4 weeks but I was thinking of looking for RUclips channels to subscribe to. Thanks Tia!
Grazie grazie
can i suggest Ilenia Zodiaco as an italian booktuber? she's amazing, my favorite in her category. she speaks very well, is beautiful, fun and ironic, suggests good books in italian and has a series titled libridimelma which i find exhilarant (but could result a bit offensive if you care too much about the book she is talking about). just check her out, she is the best!
also Read Vlog Repeat is a great italian booktube channel with some vidoes on travelling, and a new series on writing. her name is Valeria and suggests many good books, less "engaged" or difficult than Ilenia's choices, is smart, fun and reliable. check her out, you won't regret!
I'm so glad you made this, it's so good to see our culture branch out and open to others. Living in London I walked by a group of asian boys all speaking milanese italian among each other and I had to double take.. couldn't believe it. It made me feel so warm inside though, I'm glad it's becoming more normal to see that now 🇮🇹
Awh thank you so much!! I just needed your video. I’m French and I wanted to learn Italian since I met an Italian friend and just fell in love with the language. Was just looking for Italian videos but THIS is the best YOU are the best thank you! ❤️
i'm italian but i have always lived in the u.s. i have always felt connected to italian culture and i recently decided to learn the language and maybe in the future, move there. these videos help a lot. thank you!
This video couldn't have come at a better time for me! I'm graduating on friday from my italian degree and really don't want to lose the italian, so these channels will really help.
Looove this!!! I am a Dominican - Italian young woman , I grew up in Italy and moved to New York 5 years ago . I feel like I lost a little bit of touch with the italian "youTube" community and good "content", so this will definitely help!!! ( p.s. i always kept your channel on mind tho, think you are great! keep it up!! )
You're one of my favorite RUclipsrs, Tia! I'm also a huge fan of Learn Italian with Lucrezia, Briller, and Weilà Tom. This "category" of RUclipsrs is getting so much stronger, I love it. Keep it up. :)
I was looking for italian youtubers to study for my finals this month, but couldn't really find any. I'm german and am going to have an oral exam in italian :D thank you for suggesting all these helpful channels :)
YES thank you! I've been trying to find some channels in Italian so that I can practice my listening. I lived in Italy for a year and I'm trying not to lose my language skills so quickly. TY TY TY!
I'm French who speak English and try to learn Italian ! And this video was so interesting and extremely helpful (which is not the case for youtube nowadays) So thankkkk you soooo so much
I love you!❤️ l'm Italian, I'm 14, and I have learned many things from you and your videos. I love English and I'd like to learn it but now I'm not very good. I love you tyaaaa❤️
Amazing video, Tia. I loved it! And I'm glad I already knew many of the youtubers you mentioned in this video. I guess this explains why I watch your videos :) I also liked the way you pointed out that Italy is becoming a multicultural nation, and that there are many Italians with parents coming from all over the world, because I think that listening to their experiences is extremely interesting and useful for everybody. Grazie :)
Tia has the ability of being extremely entertaining! I am actually a native Italian speaker, but this video was still fun haha I mean, she could even talk about the weirdest thing on earth and I wouldn't care that much and just watch it all till the end:) (obvious to say that I like every video even before watching)
Ciao Tia!
Tia, first congrats!!! I saw the t shirt !!! tthen I just want to point out you are moving those hands soooooooooooooo much: a very italian way to do things!!! LOL
You are VERY right about the fact that RUclips is a great resource to learn a language. I learned english pretty much only through RUclips and now I am at a very high level with it, which makes me so proud of myself. If you want to learn english, RUclips is the first place you should go (apart from school I mean)
Manu of Italy Made Easy is excellent! He is a professor in Australia who is Italian. I enjoy Grace on Your Dash, she speaks very fast, but with beautiful accent; did you mention her as a friend. Trying to learn Italian.
This is perfect thank you! My dads am imagrant so I was planning to move back for college because it’s apparently free for citizens? Also I agree I think italy is super diverse and just beautiful. Though sometimes your family is very very very honest with you.... sometimes not for the best- I just love it so thank you! And actually my dads family came from Egypt to Italy so yes very diverse!
Ciao Tia!
I absolutely love Italy, the language, culture, dances (especially in the south), obviously the food, but my goodness there are so many different rules for learning Italian, it's insane, I just want someone who can make the Italian language easy for me so I can become 100% fluent, it would make my trips to Italy much easier & I wanna be able to talk to my Italian friends in their own language (I started learning Italian before making Italian friends).
Whats awesome about these youtube videos for me is the comment section! Someone makes a video of their experience, and you go to the comment section to see what the responses are on that experience or opinion. I can get an idea if its accurate or accurate for some and not others. Looking forward to using RUclips to help me learn italian, my husbands job is moving us there next year. ❤
I am from Serbia. 😊 I love your personality, you are always realistic and giving great tips about life. Kisses from Novi Sad 😘 p.s. you should visit Serbia 😉
This video makes me SO happy. I appreciate so much if someone that speak english, the most common language, tries to learn even a few words in italian (apart from the "stereotypical" words and gestures that everyone knows... of course! ☹️). You know, a lot a people wouldn't care and would never ever try to learn a few words even if they had the chance to. Personally, I ADORE languages. :) :) Each time I meet someone that speak a language that I don't know, I ask them to teach me something. It's fascinating. I never got the chance to learn english properly when I was at school. English was not obligatory back then (not so long ago, I was born in 1992), so I took german classes only until I got in high school. I was a DISASTER at first. I knew nothing at all. English teachers were very terrible, and had poor accents, so I kept failing. Then in 2008 I discovered youtube. I started looking for make up tutorials, and funny youtubers, and THAT made the difference. I was talking to people in the comment section, back then when you could still have a normal conversation on here. I was listening to music, and singing. I learned writing, yes, but I learned because I was constantly listening to native speakers actually speaking about anything :) LOL. And since I was learning slang\"informal" english, I remember doing an essay in class, and writing "wanna\gonna\'cause" because I didn't know I had to write the full thing :) It's all trial and error. I've never been to the US unfortunately, and I have been to the UK only once. But "natives" speakers compliment me on my accent now... and you can't understand how happy I get (even if I am still working on it). All because of people like YOU. And that is why I think this video is SO important. Because it will connect people. That is what languages are all about. Your videos help people Tia, you should be so proud of yourself :) ❤️

can i suggest Ilenia Zodiaco as an italian booktuber? she's amazing, my favorite in her category. she speaks very well, is beautiful, fun and ironic, suggests good books in italian and has a series titled libridimelma which i find exhilarant (but could result a bit offensive if you care too much about the book she is talking about). just check her out, she is the best!
