I love how AC turned Reno and Rude into Looney Tunes characters in terms of durability. They just comedically get blown up in a scene only to appear seconds later totally fine.
In their defense, Loz and Yazoo are suped up on materia, so it's not exactly a fair fight. The Turks are actually very highly trained, with Reno and Rude being able to go toe-to-toe with most SOLDIERs. That's why Rufus tends to use them for most missions.
-The sign lands on Rude's head. -fights to stay conscious -succeeding. -Reno lands on his head. -Reno steps on his glasses. -Rude visibly saddenned. -Stands up unscathed -pulls out a new pair of glasses.
3:55 this whole scene is absolutely hilarious but the funniest part to me is the sheer SIZE of the debris that falls onto Rude’s head (comedically large or small things always make me laugh)
say what you want about AC but you gotta admit that they absolutely *nailed* the comedy in a movie that's supposed to be as intense as it is. whoever decided to turn two of the most evil antagonists from the original game into comedic relief deserves a raise man LMFAOO
Yeah, and they're not incompetent either, they're just dealing with a threat that's much stronger than them (or Outclassed as my dad said after we saw the movie in theaters, hehe). Besides, we need comic relief in a movie like this to balance out the overall darker story and heartfelt moments, so why not have two former antagonists who feel remorse for what they did in the original game be a comedic duo? (And also, in Rebirth and Remake, they're STILL pretty funny there, see Purists? They can be funny and still be good at what they do!)
You are missing a couple of scenes but this is hilarious- especially rude ready to punch Reno lol, also them arguing and fighting each other while Tifa scolds Cloud LMAO 🤣-favorite scene is the bomb scene “Hey.. partner .. this uhh thing got any bite to it ?” ~Shinra technology at it’s finest 👌~ “OoOh so YOU made this” ~if nothing else its ✨F l a s h y✨~ ~✨OoH GoOd 😏✨👌~
Still find it funny that Reno is voiced by the same dude who voiced Axel. The dude signed up to voice two joke characters who are incredibly strong and fast for no viable reason
in the first ff7ac, at 4:57 or after kadaj's gang left, reno n rude were trying to climb the bldg/tarp. then they were shown next on the highway with a chopper they used to get there and with the same flashy line. i love both versions (eng dub)
I like the fact that even though they are working for Shinra and basically the bad guys they still grabbed as many kids they could in order to save em not careing that they were under Kadaj's control with the Geo Stigma shows u deep down they are good people just to damn loyal to the wrong people
The Turks and Rufus Shinra changed their ways in this movie, as Rufus's goal in the movie is to heal the world, this is also explored more in the novella for Advent Children "On the Way to a Smile", hence the reason why the place Rufus lives in when Cloud meets Rufus is called "Healin Lodge"
They work for Rufus, not exactly Shinra. The Turks once turned against Shinra to protect their leader, Verdot, and president Shinra ordered to have them all killed. Rufus saved them and made them sort of their personal guard. I'm sure if they had to choose between Shinra the company, or Rufus the man, they'd always choose Rufus. It's to him they're loyal to.
I honestly think some new game... maybe a spinoff into it's own series... coming off of the Remake series, should be a game with the Turks as the main characters... not just here or there, like with Advent Children, and the like, where they mix in with Avalanche pre and post VII, but, a full series showing them personally after VII Remake, in their own full adventures, showing a redemption arc for them, with each game, as they try to rebuild the world into a better place... Reno and Rude as the mains, obviously, but with other Turks to join them as a third member before each chapter, or mission, that they can switch out after each mission is over... possibly with replayability for each mission, to see, "Or, this is how it could have happened...", so they can see how the mission would have gone with a different member, each mission having different components that would work, or, simply work better, with one Turk over another, and new dialogue for each one used. Elena with strength, endurance, and survivability over experience, with a mix of average melee, pistol, martial arts, and explosives attacks, the versatile member of the group, not great at any attack, but able to power through battles. Tseng as average in stats, but, high dexterity to hit and dodge, with strong unarmed martial arts and high tactical experience, possibly with the ability to use weapons like nunchuks, or average sized swords... compared to most seen in the VII series... for slightly better range, to increase his ability to hit and dodge attacks, at the expense of extra attacks per round barehanded, the FFI Monk/Black Belt of the game. Vincent Valentine, as he normally is portrayed, for strong long range attacks with his guns, and finding enemy weaknesses. Reeves, now in charge of the Turks, their moral compass in trying to keep them on the good path, even as anti-heroes, working from the safety of his office, while using Cait Sith in missions for hacking and support, both moral and functional. Possibly even finding new recruits for the Turks here and there... possibly one, or more, in each game, who could show up in future installments.
they didn’t do it to “make up” for what they did. they changed. and not to mention that they couldn’t refuse dropping the plate, if they did, they would’ve been killed and someone else would’ve been sent out to do it. they had no choice.
Im always confused at the last scene. Why they are still alive at the end when they explode the bomb that they are holding. How did they escape the explosion
I got Introduced to FF7 via the Remake. And the VA there is amazing. And I didn't think the advent children VA would do as great of a job. BOY was I wrong. Flynn nail this character so well... he might be even better. The guy steals every scene. In comparison... Rude, imo, sounds better in the Remake. Crispin is one of my favorite actors but I don't think he 100% fits this character.
@@XofHope I love his voice in the Remake so I kinda disagree with that. The Remake voice also gets that cocky atitude as well, and Reno was always a kind brat. I love both voices.

Cloud shutting the door on Reno will always be hilarious!
YES!
Hope they do this in the remake version like in 2024 maybe
That was added in the Complete version.
Makes sense considering how good Reno is at fighting that Cloud would do that. Saves him a lot of trouble.
That's what happens when Reno tries to fight Level 99 Cloud. 😆😆
I love how AC turned Reno and Rude into Looney Tunes characters in terms of durability. They just comedically get blown up in a scene only to appear seconds later totally fine.
Or they fall out of a helicopter and land like bouncy balls. X)
Glad FF7 remake gave them justice
Don't forget the sign dropping on Rude's head
Hell, you remember fighting them? With their long-ass health bars?
In their defense, Loz and Yazoo are suped up on materia, so it's not exactly a fair fight. The Turks are actually very highly trained, with Reno and Rude being able to go toe-to-toe with most SOLDIERs. That's why Rufus tends to use them for most missions.

Reno and Rude's comedic/ chaotic duo energy in Advent Children is legendary
Reno and Rude ingame:takes ours to die
Reno and Rude in AC: Comedic duo
Tbf, they take hours to die in AC as well, lol.
3:35 Reno climbing up the side of a building like a feral animal.
That was actually pretty crepy lol
3:55 this whole scene is absolutely hilarious but the funniest part to me is the sheer SIZE of the debris that falls onto Rude’s head (comedically large or small things always make me laugh)
Rude running with two kids under his arms like boards of wood is killing me 😂
I love how Rude always has a spare pair of sunglasses 😎!
"I'm just peachy"
I'M SOBBING
The way Reno accidentally smacked Rude with his Baton had me cackling in the family room 😆
Hopefully they add that to the ff7 games
Gets me Everytime
Rude was so ready to retaliate too 😂
@@Origin_Reach yea no kidding
I'll be honest. I came here for a sign dropping on Rude's head. If nothing else it's... flashy.

Na, they've never been "evil" just very focused on their job.
@@mariogirl8100 They've never been evil, just nonchalant pros following orders.
@@Manesson Yeah, but them showing remorse for what they, along with Shin-Ra did, shows an even more human side to them.
Hojo was the most evil antagonist
Now, Advent Children might be a mess overall, but Reno & Rude are definitely the best part 🙌🏻 can‘t wait to see more of them in the Remake.
Is no one going to talk about that sign falling on rude??? So unexpected 😂😂😂😂😂😂

i dont understand, they didnt say "flashy" at the timestamp you commented.
Ah yes. Top spies for a corporation that commits atrocities
They’re top spies, indeed. It’s just the baddies out-top them so much it’s not even funny (for them. For us, the Turks’ suffering is top comedy.)
2:33 XD
and the way rude tries to punch him back is so funny

Why Reno look so majestic here? 5:42
After all this time they still work for shinra that is practically gone at this point
they dont actually in advent children, shinra is gone at that point. although they are trying to rebuild it

Reno and rude are the absolute best. They don't get the credit they deserve in the lore.
3:55 MOTHER...!? (Just how is he still alive?)
Reno aka pre Axel/Lea
“You love it, I know”
Reno’s VA is the same guy who plays raiden in the MGS games and MGRR just a funny detail
Rude is voiced by crispin freeman here so it's basically Raiden and Sundowner banter
Reno and Cissnei are my favorite Turks ❤
Reno sounds likes axel from kingdom hearts
That’s because it’s the same guy voicing them

4:31 I always thought that Reno dodged this because we cant really see the punch connect
yea he got hit which is why he flew back and pushed rude with him 😭
I know right ?
Team Rocket is nothing compaired to this two.😂
I hate these guys before for they are the reason why most of the Avalanche members died but now, they are one of my favorite characters in FF7
I'm curious how to beat reno's style jump into front reback attack, 2 - 3 times occasionally i found but i'm not sure what button i push.Anyone know?
Square
Names Reno....got it memorized?
He climbed that wall like a chimp 😲😧 3:34
Reno forgot his skills and powers
Reno got a little rusty but he's most likely stronger than during FF7
I really hope the Turks are gonna be playable at some point in remake like in a DLC or maybe advent children game.
