The joys of owning your very own strip till bar!

I'm trying to finish our corn acres with the strip till bar. Dad is finishing up anhydrous ammonia. A few breakdowns don't stop me, but more than a few pile ups just might.

What are you seeding mate, good video, watching from oz, i would like to do some strip till into pasture.

Putting dry fertilizer down with the strip till bar, then coming back in the spring to plant corn and soybeans into those strips.

Do u strip many acres? Or do yea broadcast over any? A lot of repairs and greasing with the equipment

We strip about 70% of our acres. Broadcast a little and rip the rest. Next year we’re looking at going 100% strip till. Possibly buy a second 8 row bar to speed things up.
Certainly a lot of repairs and greasin’, but that’s the nature of everything on the farm!
