今日茶席，第440席【造物之妙】
「毛衣新成雪不敵，眾禽喧呼獨凝寂」，白鷺鳥在人們眼裡歷來是高潔的代表。贊賞之餘，文人未免物我相弔，喟嘆「秋水寒白毛，夕陽吊孤影」，高處不勝寒的寂落。造物之妙，恰有一種植物亭亭孤立，花開如鷺，一樣的高潔孤冷，隱隱地透出一縷憂傷，這就是以鳥為名，與鳥通神的「白鷺草」。
鷺草是純白色的，像極了展翅而飛的白鷺。每每見到鷺草，都不由得感嘆，世上怎麼會有這種形狀的花呢！真是再妙不過了。
東京的世田谷區將鷺草定為區花，這是因為流經該區西側的多摩川沿岸曾鷺草叢生。日本第一名城「姬路城」之所以有「白鷺城」之稱，不僅因為它的輪廓優雅，更因為城池所在的區域一度鷺草萋萋。

🍵今日の茶席　第440回【創造の不思議】🍵
「毛衣新成雪不敵，眾禽喧呼獨凝寂」、白鷺は人々の目には高潔さの代表として見えていました。文人は称賛するだけでなく、共感して互いに慰め合っていました。「秋水寒白毛，夕陽吊孤影」。孤高な寂しさを感じます。
創造は不思議なもので、鷺のような花を開く孤高の植物があります。それは高潔で冷たくて、かすかに憂いを帯びています。その花は鳥にちなんで「鷺草」と名付けられています。
鷺草は真っ白で、翼を広げて飛ぶ白鷺のような姿をしています。
私は鷺草を見るたびに、「世界にはこんな形の花があるなんて！」と感動してしまいます。これほど不思議なことはありませんね。
東京都世田谷区では鷺草を区の花に指定しています。これは世田谷区を流れる多摩川の西側ではかつて鷺草がたくさん生えていたからです。
日本一の名城と名高い姫路城も「白鷺城」という異名を持っています。これは外観の優雅さも理由の一つですが、昔城の池には鷺草が茂っていたことにも由来します。

"毛衣新成雪不敵，眾禽喧呼獨凝寂." In the eyes of the people, the white egret was seen as a representative of nobility. Literati not only praised, but also sympathized and comforted each other. "秋水寒白毛，夕陽吊孤影,” They feel a sense of loneliness.
Creation is a mysterious thing, and there is a solitary plant that blooms a flower like a egret. It is noble and cold, and slightly sad. The flower is named "white egret grass" after the bird.
Its flower is pure white and looks like a white egret flying with its wings spread.
Every time I see the white egret grass, I am moved and think, "I can't believe there is a flower like this in the world!" There is nothing more mysterious than this.
Setagaya Ward in Tokyo has designated the white egret grass as the ward's flower. This is because white egret grass used to grow in abundance on the west side of the Tama River, which runs through Setagaya Ward.
Himeji Castle, renowned as the most beautiful castle in Japan, is also nicknamed "White egret Castle." This is partly due to the elegance of its exterior, but it also comes from the fact that white egret grass used to grow in the castle's pond.
