It would have been much better for us blacks is we had followed his lead, instead of keeping our own counsel and ending up with the filth we currently produce, a filth that’s threatening to bring down the entire civilization.😢
Hank Williams - who knows what songs were left unwritten? 29 years old and all those great songs! Listen to the words on I’m So Lonesome - a great poet too.
My mamaw loved Hank Williams Sr. Also Charley Pride! She had all their albums and she would play them on her little record player and of course I always wanted to talk to her and she would look at me and put her finger over her lips and go Shhh ! Precious memories

@@karenbritt5815 Dave was actually nicer at pointing this out than another female fan on another video. I appreciate them pointing it out cuz I'd like to think I am a big fan & I definitely have a lot of respect & admiration for Charley Pride. I Didn't realize the spelling either until I saw that lady's reply to someone else paying tribute. I also believe Charley would forgive us. There are a lot of people who make this mistake & he never showed irritation over it. I am a big fan, not only for his voice & choice of songs, but also for the class he showed everytime in public.

Charley pride might be the most interesting man in The world. Assuming southern racism, how was he allowed on stage with them? How did he make it in country music??? Wasn’t singing with them alone enough to get lynched?
Perspective derived from television coupled with no life experience must be a terrible way to travel through life. But being too dumb to realize it's gotta help out alot. 😆

Hello Debbie
To sing the song of the greatest song writers of country music of America, Hank Williams the one and only.
He's got a good voice and the girls enhance the act with their contrasting higher female voices.

I don't like the way he squeals in Hanks songs, but nobody can do them as good as Hank, he's my favorite of all time, nobody better.my opinion.
