The Philosophy of Islamic Archery with Alperen Alkan

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Alperen Alkan is a master archer, specialising in traditional horseback archery, and former World Champion in archery. He has been a professional horse rider for 17 years, and horseback archer for 11 years. In 2015, he founded Mamluk Academy and teaches archery to thousands of people across the world. His academy has over 1000 members across multiple countries, such as the UK, Germany and Indonesia. Alkan works to revive the art of Ottoman and Muslim archery and to bring light the spiritual meanings of archery. He holds regular workshops and courses in a variety of subjects and skills.
