Thank you Sir for your exposition on seeking God. However Sir, the bit about hell as taught was the situation that obtained BEFORE JESUS WENT TO THE CROSS. AFTER the cross, it became appointed unto man to die once AFTER THAT IS JUDGEMENT. Judgement for man is no longer delayed neither do men have to be held in abeyance until a later date, kept in waiting for judgement to be dispensed at a later day. The doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church of purgatory is the exposition you gave Sir. Psalm 68:18 says when He ascended to heaven He gave gifts to men AND LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE. The devil held righteous men in captivity and they could not get to God in heaven because after the fall of Adam from glory into sin, the ransom for the restoration of man to God by the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus had not been offered at the mercy seat of God in the Most Holy Place.
