Merkules is incredibly gifted. What I didn’t expect is that he’s actually a regular guy, too, a cool one at that. Last month I smoked way too much, and sent a stony but appreciative message to this dude around 3AM one night. Less than an hour later, I kid you not, he sent a personal message from his official account on Facebook. I was kind of dumbfounded. He talked to me like I was on the same level as him. Merkules is the real deal alright. I hope he sees this so he knows I’ve continued to explore his music. It’s all just really, really great. He gets it.
Just so happened I came across a news article about how this Canadian rapper face got scarred. I had never heard about him until now. I'm glad I came across the article because Merkules is a dope rapper.
