I like how you were able to change the feel of the room with minimal changes, really. Painting one wall and adding beams. The rest was furniture placement and a cool rug. Well done.
There's a few routes you could go here. Drapes within the same color palette as the furniture/decor, plantation shutters would look great here or natural wood blinds.
I didn't how you were going to go at 1st. Once you mentioned "Captain's Galley," it wS "Oh yeah!" Nice touches. Question: Would painting the bookcase that Onyx color be too much? Just curious. On of these days, I'm going to hire you! Nice job! GH

There are actually multiple versions of these ceiling beams, all of them serving the same purpose of visually appearing real. Some are a plastic material with the appearance of wood; Others are hollow beams made of real wood. Perfect for aesthetic purposes, but obviously not for frame support purposes.
@@ChaudryGhafoor thanks! could you maybe link or tell me a brand name of one that you like in terms of appearance. I've only seen a few but they looked overly fake, so probably not the ideal ones
I’m surprised you went for a three piece suite, I see them as rather dated now, might not a slightly larger sofa and two accent chairs been better? Much as I love hardwood floors I think they can be a little unforgiving, I might have been inclined to a large rug or cow skin. Love the change though I’d would be happy, it’s way better to what was there before.
I would view the seating situation as a personalized aspect; You could go either direction depending on how the person is going to live in the space and who else may share it with them on occasion. This design being a sofa and two accent chairs rather than larger arm chairs would absolutely work; I see nothing wrong with your suggestion. The flooring mimics the look of hardwood, but is actually tile. This room is somewhat of a sunroom style addition.
@@ChaudryGhafoor I could be mistaken, but i think they are talking about when you have the picture in a picture and showing your mug talking to the screen and the picture youre talking about up.....just show the pic with the voice over.

Painting the bookshelf should be just fine!

Haha no worries at all! I appreciate you being here and tuning back in! 😂
curious where you got those ceiling beams? Are they plastic, prefabricated wood or actual wood?

It would be better if you took your commentary pic in pic out and just showed the space. It takes away from the space.
Thanks for the feedback. Are you speaking of when showing the renovated space or showing the original space as well?
