This has been my best month ever reselling. Finally hit 10k after fees for the first time ever! Sales were a little slow on Posh so I sent over 5000 shoppers a comment advertising a 40% off bundle sale. That fixed my slow sales over there 😊
I have been thrifting and listing 1-5 items on ebay (almost everyday) since 2001. There’s always one week in each month that my sales are VERY slow. This is especially true in the last 5 years. See if you see the same pattern. I speculate it may have to do with ebay doing updates, or something with the ebay servers and store visibility.
It's always slower the last few days of a month and beginning of new month because people have to pay rent or house payments that week. It's always like that. Thanks for the encouragement!❤
Thank you so much for the amazing tips! I tried the search on Posh by # of likes, sent out good offers & Bam 💥 I sold something right away🎉. I had never done searched my closet by number of likes before so thanks I really appreciate you making this video. Also, while things are slow I reorganized some of my inventory and pulled some things that needed to go in my donate pile.
Comparing now vs last year at this exact time is such a great tip that I always forget to do! I have been feeling the slow sales for sure, and my sales are down right now, but I just went to ebay and I'm up 63% compared to last year🥰 thanks for the great reminder and for another great video💜
Thank you for the encouragement. My sales have been in a slump since November and it's so discouraging. I''ve increased my daily listings and it's not making a difference. It feels like I'm pushing a rock up a mountain. I've done a sales comparison from last year and am down 27%. This is the longest slump I have ever experienced. Ugh how do you keep motivated when sales have been slow for an extended period of time?
That soes sound like a really long slump. If that's the case I would evaluate aspects of your business to make sure they're working for you. I would take a big look into the str of the items you are listing.
Good advice!!... but your voice is too growly & ruff. This was my 1st time listening. I won't be able to listen... I hope it's just a scratchy throat & your feel better.
@@cayleyelaine lol; I can't believe someone said that. I just found you on here and this is my first listen. Your voice is not growly or rough, lolol. In fact, it reminds me a great deal of my younger daughter's voice. Very good information. Thank you.
Sales are always slow reason why are Taxes. When tax seaon come, Sales are down. People are worry that they owe taxes. After taxes it pick up . Bills are on the rise too. Especially when it is right after the holiday and than your taxes jump in. Happen every year

Love your hair... And man are you classy! Thanks for all the tips and encouragement! XO
Thanks for the encouragement around seasonality! That was my hunch, too, but I wasn't sure.

I have noticed a drop off the last few days by still this is my best January since I started my stores in 2017.
Not a great sales month for me, but compared to January 2023, I'm up 22.5%. So there's that.

I've only sold three things this week. Something seems off.
Great tips I can hardly wait to see more on your travel n pet sitting 😊
Statistically most americans are running out of savings too, ontop of all the variables you mentioned.
Just just noticed same amount of sales this time of year yo last year
