Oh hey! It’s so good to see you! Your videos have not showed up in my stream so I’ll have to come make a point to look at your videos. There were children on the Current River and I know you have the skill level. I think you just need to, get over your fear and go with some people you trust. Of course, always respect the river. It can be dangerous. But the only way to learn to read the river is to go and do it. My kayak buddy moved to the state of Washington. I need a new kayak buddy. I went this time with my son, but he’s not going to be around normally.
@@HikingWithShawn I can see that being scary if you don’t swim well. Everyone “swims” some. Most of the time when I flip I can either stand up or just half swim to the bank. But there are those other situations. It’s always best to stick together as a buddy system to help each other out if needed.
Current river looks beautiful
It is! Looks kind of green in the video but when you look straight down it’s clear. I love that place!
I'd love to kayak the Current River but I'm afraid of the current. I can't seem to get away from lakes, no-wake lakes for that matter. Great video!

@@MyCornerOnline Yeah. I'm not the best swimmer but I wear a life jacket always. I guess I'm afraid of falling off my kayak mostly.
