It's fascinating and intriguing to know why, what went wrong, etc. Personally I look at it not as a type of a gossip thing, but as a means to learn about human behaviors, psychology, way of thinking, what type of people are there and the types that get together, for how long they have been together and when bad things started to happen, how long it took, etc. It's very interesting to me, but it's nothing personal of a thing, purely objective deal, so it's not like I am looking down on her ex, or herself, or anyone in fact. But it gives the insight in various reasons people get together and break up, whether things have been thought out or not, planned or unplanned, etc. So while it is not my business, it is still something to learn from, learn from others. Not trying to butt in right now, just saying that people should relax about these things and try to learn from each other, and I am not saying she should say everything, it's up to her, but knowing how people live is interesting and knowledgeable. Of course if you are interested into social behaviors and such.

I agree...I cannot stand it when someone asks my weight.. I've struggled with my eating habits, weight and all that stuff for years. Especially since my boys were born. My oldest is about to be 18 in about a month and youngest will be 17 on Dec. 30th. It's been an uphill battle since. It's none of anyone's business, but you know there will always be the nosey bodies. Cannot seem to get away from them.

It seems 2019 is the year of big/strenuous breakups, but also of new beginnings (myself included). I hate hearing that "relationship goals" bs. People like to fantasize just from a picture or video, but you never know what's going on behind the scenes and shouldn't judge one way or another... I'm glad you're doing fairly ok at least and things are cordial with the ex for your daughters sake.
I'm very sorry to hear about the divorce, but I know it always happens for a reason. If you're both happier and healthier, and can be healthy for your daughter then that's good. A relationship ending doesn't invalidate the good times or growth that took place, and I try not to consider it a failure. People grow apart, things happen. It's going to be okay as long as you keep moving. Also we live here right on the border of Mexico, so mariachis are pretty common. Sneaky ploy to convince you to visit south Texas, or innocent comment? The world may never know.

I 100% agree with using pre-owned/vintage leathers. Why create more waste by throwing them out? I get where people come from when they say "Oh but you're vegan, why are you wearing leather?" All the leather that I have, which is very little, I've gotten from thrift stores. So, it was definitely pre-owned and vintage. I also agree with the fact that I could never wear fur, it would just mentally bother me!

Wow, I used to respect you as a vegan who actually gave a shit, but vegans don't eat, wear or use anything that comes from an animal. Full stop. They don't take from animals without consent and they don't decorate their houses with animal corpses, whether they killed the animals themselves, bought them secondhand or they fell out of the sky and into your living room. Nonvegans (and now "vegans", apparently) act like the only alternative to using the skins and furs of tormented animals is plastic. Because apparently we don't currently have readily available leather alternatives made from mushrooms, hemp, leaves and all sorts of biodegradable and non-animal sources. By the way, if you care about the environment, the animals or the humans, the last thing you should be doing is using animal leather. It is one of the most destructive industrial practices on earth, and the chemicals used to tan and dye the hides leech into the groundwater, killing vegetation, animals, and humans. The workers in the factories suffer chemical burns, bleached skin, severe respiratory problems, and cancers. It is not even remotely environmentally-friendly, so please stop using that bullshit excuse. This planet doesn't have time for lip service. The earth needs you to care enough to walk the walk.

When I saw the title I really didn't think it was going to be real. I'm glad the two of you are happier now and are still civil. Though I got to say I'm in shock. Also I can relate to the whole not using the term "Goth" anymore. I've been having like a huge identity crisis lately. I still love my clothes and everything, but I'm finding myself liking other colors and types of clothing as well. And as far as the music, I still love goth music! But I also have always loved country because I grew up listening to it and I love early 2000's pop because that's what kids at school used to listen to when I was a kid and lately some of today's new music in the pop culture has been interesting to me too. Sometimes I'm in the mood for all black everything. Studs, faux leather and velvet. Then other days I want to wear this frilly mustard yellow maxi dress. I currently don't fit into a box and I'm trying to tell myself that it's okay, but I'm having a hard time accepting it based on my family just wants to know what style I like and I feel like not fitting into a box is kind of scary because it's not societies norm. In case your conch piercing is troubling you, I just wanted to share my experience: I had a very hard time healing it with a ring in, only when I put a barbell in it finally got better! Even now that it's ten years healed wearing a ring for more than a week at a time causes me some pain (but I also have a 10ga so it's a fairly big ring).
It's sad when you think a relationship is going well and you find out it's ended. However some of the best things have happened for me after moving on from a relationship that has become negative for me. May you both find an incredible future! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
a very very long time ago i went through a very ugly divorce myself ( i was the defeated one , she was very happy to get rid of me) but my mind crossed that strange paradox phenomena : all the albums i loved did all of the sudden loose any sense or feel to it: how could i hate what i loved more than anything before her? it is not my favorite album but im talking especially about "Disintegration" and i think Robert talked once himself about that strange phenomena in an interview...and good luck by the way!

If you're interested in seeing nature in the USA, I would recommend less famous places then LA or NYC (though those are both definitely worth it for other reasons). Park City Utah or Tuscon Arizona are pretty good if you want desert, and Boulder Colorado is great for mountains. There are so many more, but that's the region of the US that I've lived in the longest :) I hope you have fun whenever/wherever you do get to visit! Also, I am madly in love with that lilac eyeshadow you're rocking in this video!! 🖤💜

Nonvegans (and now "vegans", apparently) act like the only alternative to using the skins and furs of tormented animals is plastic. Because apparently we don't currently have readily available leather alternatives made from mushrooms, hemp, leaves and all sorts of biodegradable and non-animal sources.
By the way, if you care about the environment, the animals or the humans, the last thing you should be doing is using animal leather. It is one of the most destructive industrial practices on earth, and the chemicals used to tan and dye the hides leech into the groundwater, killing vegetation, animals, and humans. The workers in the factories suffer chemical burns, bleached skin, severe respiratory problems, and cancers. It is not even remotely environmentally-friendly, so please stop using that bullshit excuse.
This planet doesn't have time for lip service. The earth needs you to care enough to walk the walk.

I am also a ethical vegan and I would never eat lab grown meat, because it still comes from a animal and it is still not healthy or good for the environment. I am happy that you are happy and sorry to hear it was a toxic one. I wouldn't wear anything that comes from a animal it makes me sick, I replaced everything that comes from a animal.

I face palmed at the height and weight question. I've suffered from an eating disorder and body dysmorphia for many years now. I could never ask someone their weight! I don't weigh myself anymore...neither do my GP or dietitian, but occassionally they'll ask me if I know how much I weigh, and it hurts thinking about my weight. I don't understand why someone...especially a random person you may not know...ask about your weight.

When I saw the title I really didn't think it was going to be real. I'm glad the two of you are happier now and are still civil. Though I got to say I'm in shock. Also I can relate to the whole not using the term "Goth" anymore. I've been having like a huge identity crisis lately. I still love my clothes and everything, but I'm finding myself liking other colors and types of clothing as well. And as far as the music, I still love goth music! But I also have always loved country because I grew up listening to it and I love early 2000's pop because that's what kids at school used to listen to when I was a kid and lately some of today's new music in the pop culture has been interesting to me too. Sometimes I'm in the mood for all black everything. Studs, faux leather and velvet. Then other days I want to wear this frilly mustard yellow maxi dress. I currently don't fit into a box and I'm trying to tell myself that it's okay, but I'm having a hard time accepting it based on my family just wants to know what style I like and I feel like not fitting into a box is kind of scary because it's not societies norm. In case your conch piercing is troubling you, I just wanted to share my experience: I had a very hard time healing it with a ring in, only when I put a barbell in it finally got better! Even now that it's ten years healed wearing a ring for more than a week at a time causes me some pain (but I also have a 10ga so it's a fairly big ring).
Oh, its literally only 4 days old...It's doing better everyday. I will keep that in mind if I have trouble with it though

a very very long time ago i went through a very ugly divorce myself ( i was the defeated one , she was very happy to get rid of me) but my mind crossed that strange paradox phenomena : all the albums i loved did all of the sudden loose any sense or feel to it: how could i hate what i loved more than anything before her? it is not my favorite album but im talking especially about "Disintegration" and i think Robert talked once himself about that strange phenomena in an interview...and good luck by the way!

If you're interested in seeing nature in the USA, I would recommend less famous places then LA or NYC (though those are both definitely worth it for other reasons). Park City Utah or Tuscon Arizona are pretty good if you want desert, and Boulder Colorado is great for mountains. There are so many more, but that's the region of the US that I've lived in the longest :) I hope you have fun whenever/wherever you do get to visit! Also, I am madly in love with that lilac eyeshadow you're rocking in this video!! 🖤💜

Also, in Albuquerque, NM we have a really long team down the side of the Sandia Mountains and the view is breathtaking. If you are around in October the Balloon Fiesta is always phenomenal too. And if you like spicy, our green chile... is...so...delish.
