SakkareBylu Elephant camp is a forest camp for captive elephants in Karnataka. This is around 17km from Shivamogga city & is along the banks of Tunga river. This camp serves as a rehabilitation centre for disabled, injured & orphaned elephants.
Every morning, the elephants are taking to the river bank where they are given a bath. One can witness this beautiful sight of these magnificent creatures getting a bath by their mahouts.
Timings: 8.30am to 11am
Entry fees: 50 INR per head
