my owned design this is 5 in 1 filter easy maintenance filter.. easy to make this filter will work up to 10.000gal
basic parts list
stainless steel mesh 200/300 microns
aquarium tank 50 gallons
5/8 thick glass for pvc and ssteel mesh holder
acrylic for divider
Not sure why you have the brushes. I suppose it catches even more debris. I don’t see and media for beneficial bacteria though. Other wise nice build. Mine is a bit different. I have a sieve filter only that runs to a bio falls. I use fabric batting for the very fine filtering. Cheap and just throw away after I wring out over my plants. Then a big bag of ceramic media for the bacteria. Works great with little maintenance.

@Almostazn12 I'm having hard time cleaning and flushing on 55 gallon barrel so i made a new filter for easy maintenance so far so good

Such a rare thing, a well designed and executed pond filter. With plumbing that makes sense, has union fittings for future maintenance. And placed thoughtfully behind a wooden fence, never could understand how people build beautiful Koi ponds, then within view of the pond have ugly PVC and barrels sprawled all over their yard. Yours is a big contrast to most of the ugly cobbled together half-baked designs people post on RUclips.
did you slant the pvc(one that catches the debris) so the water can flow into the filter socks?

One question does a 200 mesh = to 300 micron? that gets me confused. Please clarify, thanks
For practical purpose I had bought a 4" 300 Mesh and water cannot flow through it.

200 mesh = 74 micron = 0.074 mm ( 0.0029 inch)
325 mesh = 44 micron = 0.044 mm ( 0.0017 inch)
