What if one has low cortisol during day, high at night. And high DHEA during all day?

Tbh this whole adrenal thing makes less sense the more I look into it. Both DHEA and Cortisol are made by the adrenals. So if they're worn out, both should be depleted, but usually we don't see that.
Anyway, it seems people have a lot of help lowering DHEA, which allows cortisol to rise by itself, which allows it to fall naturally at night, by taking a lot of vitamin D, especially fish oil, and vitamin E (don't do synthetic). This disruption in the balance of the two seems to happen in people with trauma such as PTSD and CPTSD. This may make sense as DHEA can fuel a lot of escapism and fantasizing as a survival mechanism. In fact apparently some people treat DHEA with anti-psychotic drugs.
