For what type of astrophytum sir? If it’s a confirmed miracle, I think that’s a good buy. If super kabuto for as long as 80% of the body is covered by white hairs or new cultivars. But usually it depends on production in your area.
Sorry, I can’t say if the price is right since I haven’t seen the plant. But usually if you really find it pretty, I think the happiness it will give you will definitely compensate the cost. :) I used to buy same priced plants before and I really didn’t mind the cost, as long as it makes me happy. :)

No sir, damage due to sunburn are permanent. They overgrow the burns but the marks will still be there.

Your Ornatum looks more like the hybrid My-Or (myriostigma x ornatum) rather than ornatum.
