Yes! @KeandreAshley is the best NBA draft prospect analyst and commentator about on RUclips! @HoopIntellect is THE best! I would be lost without the film, breakdowns and insights.
Yes! Dalton looks like a great rotation player to add to a team that already has a core and an identity. If he joins a playoff contention team with strong defense and a decent PG, I think we will see him make an instant impact. I really like his fit with Houston, if we trade out of the #3 pick. I see him going #7-12
Knecht is by far the best "ALL AROUND" college basketball player in the country...... On top of that I've never seen someone that is so electrifying. Unbelievable
His age… teams shy away from older players at the top of the draft. They want 2-4 years of runway for development. If a team selects him to come off of the bench and shoot, then he’ll be ready to go as long as the defensive expectations aren’t too high.
This was such an excellent video in every way! Great commentary, terrific clips, and nice text blocks at the bottom of the video throughout. Really well done!
It's his feet/landing that intrigues me, he has a ability to float when he shoots and it has him landing with balance and stability that makes me think he's going to be a flamethrower shooter in the nba
Would love his fit in SA. One guy you mentioned as a age comparison but not a stylistic comparison is Cam Johnson. SA needs to get guys that not only fit next to Wemby, but fit well in a modern NBA play style context. Back in 2019 Phoenix drafted for fit with Cam Johnson and SA doing the same thing here could make a lot of sense. For a team that needs offense getting a legit 6’6 40% shooter that can play in a multitude of movement sets like pop likes would probably be a dream scenario.
I agree. I think you have to truly understand what you have in Wemby. A lot of people want that superstar or star player next to him. I don't think we need that. We need a bunch of guys who play roles and don't go outside of that. Surround Wemby with 3 point shooters solid passers and defenders and you have something. I think Kenecht really fits what we need.
You love how he can move off ball and get to rim and he a great shooter and he can shoot off movement as well. While his peak might not be high his floor is really good and he can definitely make an impact right now especially since he a older rookie and he played a lot college basketball Looking at this video he reminds me of Corey Kispert of the Wizards a really good driver and a really good three point shooter especially off of movement
Yes! He would be an instant contributor. Only concern is how long are they going to be in development mode. If it is only 2 years or so, I would go for it.
My favorite non-UConn player I think his all around offense is ahead of all those older players picked in the lottery would love to see him get drafted into a better situation like Jaime jaquez or Christian Braun So he won’t be wasted like Corey kispert Love the fit on the magic OkC and the lakers
Surely OKC hope to god that he falls to them at 12? They need more shooting, he’d fit the movement and guard-guard screening and can have early impact as an older prospect
@@juliangallo9949 If you do 3 or 4 yrs of college then of course you're going to be 22 or 23 All seniors are around that age. Plus if guys like Le bron are still playing at nearly 40 then what are you even talking about?
If he was 2 years younger he'd be the number one overall pick hands down! I'm hoping my Blazers get him at 7 because he won't be there at 14 guarantee that! Not in this week draft class with way to many question marks on every other lottery pick.
Him alongside Brandon Miller wiuld be deadly. Knecht vs Matas Buzelis, whom between them do you think has more aggression to his game with that MJ killer/mamba mentality?
off ball threat w/sneaky athleticism maybe his upside is in between a jordan hawkins and a bradley beal type player he is taller than both and i trust his playmaking will be better than both
Lowkey call me crazy but I think he can fill a Jaime Jaquez Jr. type role probably not as good but I would say similar production but not as lengthy or strong
Who here after LA drafted DK?
Me!!! He looks decent but I think he’s trade bait.
here. informative video. can’t wait till summer league to watch this dude.
Better not be “trade bait”
thts wht made look him up lol
dude looks like a mini KD. plus he’s strong and bouncy
had no idea he had any bounce like that. unsure how much it’ll matter in his role in the nba but demonstrates a good athletic baseline.
It always matters imo because potential in transition + back door cuts w true verticality w his shooting ability is lethal
Great breakdown, Dalton is my favorite CBB player rn can you do Stephon Castle next ?
This guy knows his shit, great breakdown, as a UT fan, i think you nailed this scout.
Yes! @KeandreAshley is the best NBA draft prospect analyst and commentator about on RUclips! @HoopIntellect is THE best! I would be lost without the film, breakdowns and insights.
Dalton is by far, my FAV CBBP. I loved watching him play on Rocky Top. He has it going on! Gonna miss him, but will be watching him in the NBA. 🧡🧡🧡

A steal for the lakers
How he didn't choose to be #4 for Knecht 4 is beyond me.
good one!
He is Knecht 3. Cuz he always Knechts from 3

Goated scouting report
To be real I have him going as high as Houston at #9 as late as #15
Damn, you were spot on

Microwave Knecht Connection!
This ages extremely well
Laker Nation let's go!
Welcome to Lakeshow!
Love your content!
Breakdown was on point. I'm a fan. Great job.
Pistons at #5 or spurs at #8. Anything after that would be an absolute steal
Any old heads seeing shades of the late, great drazen petrovic?
Holy shit you’re onto something
Please don’t disrespect the goat like that again
@@Eyescout222 fair enough reaction lol I said “shades of” for a reason

Dalton Knecht can definitely score. Defense must improve.
OK NOW IM EXCITED WITH THIS PICK!
Future San Antonio Spur!!
Yes please!! 🙏🏽
Lakers.
They chose to pass on him. Should have taken him at 8

I'd like to see Dalton at pick #8 with the Spurs!
Pretty sure Portland grabbing him at 7 especially after his solo workout with them yesterday.
Yes! He would be an instant contributor. Only concern is how long are they going to be in development mode. If it is only 2 years or so, I would go for it.
Me too!
same here, people keep saying he doesn't play defense however Coach Pop would help this kid develop into the system

i think his role be a shooter like a buddy hield or luke kennard type guy. I think your comp of THJ is really good!
Surely OKC hope to god that he falls to them at 12? They need more shooting, he’d fit the movement and guard-guard screening and can have early impact as an older prospect
While watching this breakdown, dalton gave a lot of shade of Grayson Allen with a touch of kris Middleton to his game
What a steal
This dude and Castle look a lot like Spurs type players
Reminds me of JJ Reddick but bigger and stronger
Great as always Keandre! Can we get Stephon Castle anytime soon? Been seeing him top 3 and I think that’s a bit too high. Any thought?
Didn't know bro was posterizing dudes like this
That aggression bodes well! Dude's still unearthing his power.
Welcome to the Lakeshow, Dalton!
Looking forward to seeing you on the floor at Crypto Arena!
Future Spurs #4 pick great fit
Yeah…about that…..
He seems like the shooting/off ball version of AR-15. Solid pickup, hopefully he'll be able to contribute this season.
he can shoot and not a defensive liability that is great.
Luckily I’m not a gm because I would probably draft this guy way to high, I feel like he is gonna be one of the best from this class
SO STOKED FOR HIM! LAKER NATION WE GOT A GEM!
😤😤
Can you do a Buzelis one next? Just subscribed :)
Coach pop loves to coach these offball players
I like his game. As Laker fan he reminds me of Kuzma with better handle.
I see some DBook if developed correctly
my player comp is bogdan bogdanović the one on the hawks
Good comparison but he's more athletic than bogdan
I don't love the fact that he doesn't sway much on the jumper. Seems like he gets his shoulders back without swaying though
GET HIM TO ORLANDO PLEASE! I know he wont be around for pick 18 but he's so perfect for what we need that it's worth trading up
Would love to see him at OKC
I've seem people putting this kid 9th or 10th in the draft but he looks too good to be in those positions. I can't understand how he isn't top 5

Perfect fit for the Detroit Pistons. Troy Weaver, GO GET HIM‼️‼️‼️
How does he differ from buddy boeheim?
Wingspan from NBA Combine: 6'9
He's like Thunder Dan

I wouldn’t mind pistons taking a risk to help Cade on the offensive side. We can get defense from FA
Bojan is biger but better comp. 16 to 22 point scorer in the NBA
I see bogdon
Pistons need a scorer like him, everyone outside of Cade is buns
Next Austin Reeves
Splash brothers?
Gives me some prime Gordon Hayward vibes. I would be ecstatic if he fell to 13 for the king

Rockets gonna pick this guy,
Toronto would be a fantastic fit at 6 or 17. If Toronto moves into top 3 they will go for Sarr. Look for Toronto to trade boucher and brown at draft.
Reminds me of oubre
Lakers it is 😀😀😀
Hopefully he goes to spurs they can cover up his defense & he will fit right in their system offensively💯😴
