@@dcunlocker Apparently downgrading a kirin980 will disable fast charging and other good stuff. Can Magisk be installed and then relock bootloader and then update the phone back to newer EMUI? I heard that magisk can survive updating. Thanks!

Software testpoint does not require to open device. Need to use dc-phoenix for it.

Via testpoint, yes it does. Not via manufacture mode. And has to be on Android 9/9.1 for bootloader unlock to work.
