@AdamPhillipsGrowth For sure, the cable machines are my best friend right now. To be honest, I'm on a strict calorie deficit so I only do a few sets a day every day per muscle group for maintenance.
You didn't really ask for advice but this is the easiest time I've ever had losing weight, it feels like it's falling off and I'm not struggling like I usually do.
Im decent at counting and tracking calories intuitively, but I made it a point to overestimate my calories. Package says it's 420 calories? I treat it as 500. If I have a "bad meal", I treat it as if I ate 1000 calories, giving myself a limit to eat 700 the rest of the day when I actually probably had less than 900 calories. (If that makes sense)
After the first week or so my appetite changed dramatically. Your plan sounds great tbh because you've based it around your habits. I'm a late night eater...I can not eat all day then eat like an animal before bed, so I just skip breakfast and make sure my last meal is the most filling.
I dont advocate microwaved meals BUT as a tool for weight loss theyre really helping me on certain days (there are cheap lean cuisine pastas that have less than 300 calories) I can eat that pretty late and still be in a big deficit while tracking the calories very easily.
Another hack is those diet sodas since the carbonation helps you feel full. I try to drink sparkling water but the caffeine in things like coke zero is an appetite suppressant, a coffee with my lunch helps me feel very full. As does plenty of water before meals. I also use mint chewing gum as a tool to not eat when I know I shouldn't since the taste makes food unpalatable.
I walk or jog every day. Either an hour walk or about 15 min jog.
All this combined I'm losing a little over 1% of my bodyweight a week.
Idk if any of this will be useful to you but feel free to ask questions. Your goals seem great for overall health while I'm focused heavily on maximizing fat loss and focusing on body recomposition later so it makes sense that we'd deviate
