I adore professor Stiglitz.
Thank you for the very-very interesting talk!
An outstanding lecture.
Great lecture.. shared it with my ECON class
He is a brilliant economist. :-)
I am sure he's a brilliant economist, but one couldn't tell from this lecture. he is not a macroeconomist, and his pretense to understand the crisis better than everybody else is delusional.
Wrong, the american grew the fastest in the 90s NOT in the subsequent decades after WW2
and he didn't say the opposite anywhere. in fact he wrote an entire book on the subject in 2003, "The Roaring Nineties".
Stiglitz wouldn't recognize the truth of what's really happening even if it hit him in the head. Clueless on everything economic but very savvy in keeping his profitable lecturing gig going.
the second guy spent time in stanford and still speaks a ridiculous english
A very weak speak.
Compare his "lecture" with this

Once you see this, you know why Stiglitz is.....clueless
