Drew Brees wasn't injury prone when the Dolphins passed on him. He was coming off a shoulder surgery. That was a bad decision, but Tua is not comparable, he's had 5 significant injuries in 3 years of college football all of them from normal contact.

Each of them have slightly different speeds, even his tight ends, yet he hits each one of them with pin point accuracy dig route, deep route, slant (off the RPO), bubble to RB, wheel routes. Granted the receiving core at Alabama is top notch and i pray that he will have a good OL with talent at the skill positions

When you're not a playoff team and draft early, I subscribe to the philosophy that you build a scoring offense. So I'm happy. If it takes another year or two to get into the playoffs, we'll be ruling the division for a while. The only thing that would derail us would be a coaching change. Tua worked hard mentally and physically on getting better. Now he has to learn the nfl system with coaches, players and plays, so it will take a little more time for him to adjust , 1 year should be sufficient. He will do great!

Tua is not going to do well in the NFL. He's going to be jittery in the pocket, force throws into bating NFL defenses, and be injury prone. Easy to feel comfortable throwing the ball around at Alabama where the players are far superior to everyone else.
I know and this one guy said Tua has always played on winning teams. He played on Bama with a bunch of NFL players..lol
Miami will have a worse line than Bama and then the NFL defenses.
