Hi, you might be right, maybe the landing of the US in the Normandy in WW2, in france. And it must have been superbrutal, 1/3 of the soldiers died there. I think "bleed themselves dry on the shore" points on that. If you know the movie Saving Private Ryan, it starts with landing on those shores. Just for general idea, it`s not a documentation after all. Rammstein`s songs often have more meanings than one, I love to search the deeper one.
