the first time i played this chart, it fell right on my skill threshold line, so it was challenging but felt so natural to play. it was some of the most fun ive ever had in beat saber
I don’t understand how people can get this good. I am truly impressed this is a skill that looks almost impossible. I have played these songs on Expert and I can just barely pass it. I have attempted Expert+ and no matter what song I choose I can’t last longer then 20 seconds max
Generally, the issue I see preventing people from getting comfortable with expert difficulty is that they're still thinking of every block individually, as opposed to recognizing patterns. This typically causes very jerky movements, which often means that they aren't prepared for the next block, and can also lead to injury. If you want to work on this issue, I can recommend 2 things: 1. Try to keep your muscles relaxed, and accept that you aren't always going to hit every block. If you spend less time trying to contort your arms to hit every block, it gives you the chance to look further ahead and swing smarter, not faster. Keeping your muscles relaxed means you will miss some blocks, but you are much more likely to recover afterwards. 2. Take a part you struggle with in a song you can almost pass, and slow it down until it's easy in practice mode. Then, play it over and over, increasing the speed slightly whenever it gets boring. Once you get back up to full speed, you should be much more comfortable with the pattern. You can even speed it up a little above full speed (I like 110%) to force yourself to swing efficiently, and make normal speed feel like a breeze!
@@Flourish38I agree! And the maps usually give natural movements. For example, if your right saber slashes from left to right, the next arrow of the same color will be from right to another direction. It usually won’t be left->right and then left->right again. In no time you will really feel like you’re dancing to the music. One thing I couldn’t understand though is how can some players can get a score of 1.2m for this song, I could only get a score of 740k max 😅
The first time I tried this one, I was out in 5 seconds. I still can't finish it on Expert (which I think is severely miscategorized for this song; I have little trouble with expert on any other song). But this is on a whole 'nuther level.
1:27 Why can't we be blessed with amazing patterns like this in Expert+...
Why can't we have this more in general, even in modded songs

Professional players kept raising the skill ceiling. A volume 1 expert+ can be easier than a volume 6 expert
Surprisingly, I’m the complete opposite. I struggle with expert songs most times but did this one first try
