@@bigsteppa2772 they were those weird seat material type when you slide your hand over it in one direction if changes shade... It was easy enough to remove the caked on sun screen with apc, some scrubbing and steaming.
Just bought a McCulloch 1375, they sent me the 1385 instead! super excited to start steaming, i was actually way too excited to receive the machine aha.
Matthew Swindail DUDE THATS AWESOME!!!! Upgrade for days Hahahaha! Let me know as you keep using it how you like it and how it's working!!! I've never used one very much so I'd love to know!!! So cool!
Nice video. A steamer is the single bet investment for interior cleaning. Saves a ton of time and energy!! With shorter nap on upholstery, for the most part, a steamer is all that's needed. I know this is not a carpet cleaning video, but with deeper pile carpet fibers, extracting after steaming would best. However, even with just a steamer, results are exceptional. I started with the McCullough 1385 which was great, but have since bought the Reliable Brio 500. I haven't used it yet, but the specs are great for the price. If it isn't sufficient, I will return it and pay the extra $300 for the VX5000.
That's awesome! You sold me on this steamer! 👍👍 I just subscribed to your channel and I'm super excited about watching more and more of your videos. Thanks for your tips and teachings.
Come on bro!!!! Thank you so much for subscribing and being involved!!! I kid you not this steamer is A GIFT FROM GOD!!! It is expensive, but it is absolutely worth every penny!! Definitely let me know if you have any questions as you are watching more videos!! And if you do end up buying the steamer I would be SO GRATEFUL if you used my links in the description box below the video, it gives the channel a VERY SMALL commission, but every little bit helps when you are making daily videos!!! Thanks again my friend!!!!
Pardon my ignorance, but when you were cleaning the seats, where does the dirt and grime go, as it didn't seem to go onto the cloth.Thumbs up for the vids btw.
Your thoughts on using distilled vs tap in that beast? Currently using a 1385 with distilled water mostly for maintenance of the machine (less of the added chemicals to gunk up the boiler).
I have been trying to find a good steamer that will work really good on couch fabric upholstery. I have an area on the head rest on my couch that has gummy hair product, hair spray, hair styling paste and who knows what else my daughter puts in her hair. I have tried all the hacks such as vinegar, shaving cream and other numerous things that I found on youtube and nothing is touching it. I am not sure where to begin or if steam will clean this gummy mess. I am really nervous about using a steamer and wonder if you have a video for something like this? I have called numerous carpet/upholstery companies and they aren't sure they can get it out. That is why I thought I could try myself.
I follow you on instagram, my page is @statusprodetailing and I watch your videos everyday. Not sure if you have heard of me. I love your videos, I have been in the business for a few years and I am always thirsty to learn more. You provide amazing knowledge and teaching to us. God Bless you brother, always keep God 1st. P.s could you do a video comparing a hot water extractor and a steam cleaner in terms of results? Also please try and review P21s metal polishing soap, it is the best product you will ever use as a detailer; you can polish a single chrome wheel in under 2 minutes and yield 100x better results than if you were to use a traditional metal polish.
THANK YOU MY MAN!!! That is so awesome!!! IM so glad we can connect here! I will definitely try that product, and yes I will make a video on that for sure!!!

Got my stream cleaner and off to my upholstery cleaning job in an hour, this video made me feel a lot more confident.

It only work on light soiled interior. You will need extra effort on heavy greased
Thanks for sharing your secrets 😚
Quick question: Would you treat the leather portion of the seat when done, or is that an extra charge item?
I use a shark steam cleaner on my vent and all the small gaps works well.
Randy R that's awesome! I have wondered about those more retail grade steamers. That's awesome if it is working for ya!
Love your videos

DISTILLED ALWAYS
Can you use super clean instead of meguires? And what would be the dilution?
The drivers seat thing is from sitting after being in rain and spilt drinks bro. They're 2 of the things you can't do much about in the driving seat.
I Feel like a Idiot for detailing 20 plus years without one Im going to get a Harbor freight one ASAP!
Where does the dirt and grime go?
Into the towel
I see a lot of people wrap a towel around it. What’s the purpose of that?
Anyone try vinegar and simply green as a general purpose cleaner instead? Thoughts?
Great video mate! How well do those cheaper McCullock steamers work in comparison to the 5000?
Ken Lawton I WISH I KNEW! I really want to buy a mcolouch steamer just so I can compare!!!!!
I already own a VX5000 but I've never cleaned a car with it!
How do I get gasoline smell from my car seats? Had some spill in my back seat.

So do you still use your extractor or don't you need it now?
Some customers will require a hot water extractor.
You look like that one celebrity. Forgot his name
Harvest Moon You’re thinking of Dylan O’ Brien
What are your prices for steam cleaning cloth seat with stains
It just depends, but I automatically raise prices with cloth seats, especially highly dirtied cloth seats
