    My only comment would be the fact that in the Batman origin storyline, the police are incredibly corrupt as it takes place before he cleaned up the city. So they have reason to shoot in probably won't get charged for it. Not yet at least

    • @sparshbansal6624
      @sparshbansal6624 3 года назад +7

      @@clericneokun He wasnt needed anymore because there were no supervillains to the tune of Ra's Al Ghul, Joker or Bane. There is a difference between figjting supervillains like Bane and organized crime. The reason Bane threw Bruce in the pit was because Bane himself recognized Batman was the ONLY person able to beat him. Even the regular criminals themselves were more scared of batman than they were of the Police because police has always been able to be bought in batman stories including the Nolan trilogy. Joker even says that in the Dark Knight. "I know why you have your group therapy sessions in the daylight: The Batman". All the mafias even paid Joker to get rid of the Batman. In Batman Begins, the judge who acquitted Joe Chill was corrupt. You can even see him in Falcone's restaurant with young girls half his age around his arms. Flass, Gordon's partner, is also corrupt. He literally steals falafael from a poor person. Rachel's boss in the first movie is killed by two corrupt police officers. The entire staff at Arkham is either afraid or bought off because even though everyone knew about the crazy experiments Crane performed, noone said anything about it. Crane literally set batman on fire in front of two policemen. Batman is portrayed as someone who is truly incorruptible. Joker even says that at the end of the second movie. But lets say all the police officers and people in power, magically, turn into decent human beings, does that mean there are no ways to influence the police officers and other people in power? In the second movie, Joker literally threatens two police officers into doing his bidding. I guess a lady mexican officer known as Ramirez betrays Gordon and Batman because Joker threatened her life or her family's life. So if police officials are either corrupt or afraid, then they can be easily ifluenced. Batman can neither be corrupted nor is he easily spooked. Literally the entire trilogy tries to hammer this message home. But there is one other factor. What about incompetence? The police are not simply as competent as Batman. Batman is not batman because of his gadgets and wealth. He is that because of his training, willpower, innate sense of goodness. Literally noone will be willing to go through what Bruce went through during his training. Bruce is an exceptionally extraordinarily competent individual and the police are just average human beings. What specialized gadgets or resources did Bruce use to defeat Bane? He used his willpower to get out of the lazarus pit because he genuinely wanted to help his city. A large majority of police officers dont have the same devotion to improving Gotham that Bruce does. A large majority of the police officers dont have the same amount of will power and strength that enables Bruce to fight 600 menat once. A large majority of the officers arent incorruptible like Bruce. So Bruce is literally the only person who could have defeated Bane. If he hadnt decided to come out of retirement, Gotham would have been destroyed. Alfred also thought Bruce wouldnt be able to defeat Bane and would die. Guess what? Alfred was wrong.

    “A law enforcement officer is allowed to use lethal force on a fleeing suspect if said suspect can be a threat to someone else’s life. On the contrary, if they are chasing someone who is not a threat to the life of someone else then lethal force is not allowed.”
    Basically, if someone stole a bunch of batteries and is trying to flee from police then lethal force is not allowed. But if someone is running away, then turns around and fires off a few rounds before continuing to run then lethal force is 100% justified.

    Batman is the greatest super hero ever. I've read many comics, watched the animated series and loved Arkham Asylum.
    What makes Batman that awesome is that he has no super powers, but is concidered the worlds greatest detektive, his martial arts skills are unparalleled, he's highly intelligent and his arsenal of gadgets and vehicles makes him highly adaptable. I'm huge fan since my childhood and even today (I'm 33 now) this fandom is unbroken.

      Remember, these are comic books. The longevity of their stories are integral and the joker is one of the most popular DC characters ever created, killing him off for real would just be a bad business move. An in-universe explanation could simply be that the villains have somebody on their payroll who can get their sentences lightened because the Justice system in Gotham is said to be very corrupt.

Due to lack chlorine available to keep our customers’ pools clean. Luckily we were able to find a place to sell us some and we stocked up. We are good until about next March. Hopefully by then the shortage will be over. But that’s not the only problem, not only is it short in stock, but chlorine is also VERY expensive. and fyi, batfleck never murdered anyone in bvs. all his kills are collateral, self defense, or justifiable homicide. i dare you to show me one time batfleck attacks unprovoked. his only murder was superman's, but he didnt follow that through. all batmen in comics or movies, have killed at some point. stop acting batfleck killing is new. besides, you are ok with batman attacking/torturing criminals, basically often to the point where they wish they dead, but you arent ok with him killing? and not killing criminals for what, so they can get out of jail/escape and put people in harm's way again?

    And yet, Batman _still_ succeeds in interrogating hjm by using a tactic he hadn't and likely wouldn't have performed before. It's partially from how PISSED he is after the mook cruelly taunts him about Oracle's predicament, with Batman raising his voice even (Batman rarely raises his voice while interrogating).
    It also has to do with the Joker's blood in his veins, slowly turning him into someone who may actually carry out his threats (no-kill-rule or not).
