yes, so true! also throughout the seasons you can see how Stefan and Caroline got closer and closer. My one favourite part is when Elena had her humanity off and they were at the party she threw (at this point Stefan and Caroline were just friends), and Caroline told Stefan to stop worrying just have a little bit of fun and she's like "just pick a girl and have a fun night" etc and he literally picked her up and grabbed her --cuuuuuutest ever. They always had chemistry and little moments that would tease the eventual 'endgame' --so idk why so many people are confused they ended up together lol. Of course Elena had to get her happily ever after. She always got whatever she wanted,but once just once why couldn’t someone else like Caroline and Bonnie get happy ending. It’s so unfair that the people that Caroline and Bonnie loved most died.
But also Caroline and Bonnie got their bittersweet happy endings. Like Caroline built the Salvatore School with Alaric and in The Originals for a few episodes she was there and built a relationship with Klaus that would've been something if he didn't die. In Legacies you can also see how the School was made for Stefan's honour. Also I have a theory but they never said it clearly that Damon and Elena named their daughter Stefanie. For Bonnie she always had Enzo in her heart and was able to travel and see the world. Also in Legacies they mention her coming to do some high end witch stuff so she got her magic back. I know that everyone wanted good endings for their ships and that this is a lot for me to be writing, but you also have to remember that Elena, Stefan and Damon were the main characters from the beginning, until Nina Dobrev didn't want to play a teenager anymore. So, they will still go back to the roots for the end of the show. That's why for the last season, all episode titles were memorable lines from the first season. (P.S. I know that this a lot but I just had a lot to write about this topic because I felt the same way first. Also team Steroline and Klaroline. Klaus just has that bad boy, I want it but everyone would hate me for it vibe to him)

honestly i agree, elena always got everything and caroline and bonnie were always in the shadows. bonnie literally sacrificed her life so many times for everyone else and gave up everything for other people and of course her life had to be ruined and enzo had to die. while elena was sleeping for 5 years caroline and bonnie were actually doing things and trying to save people they were so much more deserving of a happy ending and their ships were honestly so much better and stronger than delena.
The vampire diaries became a better show when Nina left because julie plec was forced to give the other characters some attention , she ruined the show by focusing on only Elena's characters (even though it wasn't such a good character to begin with) she ruined every ship that the fans loved about both shows (klaus and Caroline , Stefan and Caroline, Bonnie and enzo , Bonnie and Jeremy , alaric and jo, hayley and Elijah, Matt and penny ) she introduced new characters for us fans made us love them and then she kills them like kai and enzo and the sirens .
I mean.... How can someone not love STEROLINE? Their development was the most realistic thing that ever happened on the show. They are the ultimate definition of finding "Soulmates in best friendship". That's the purest form of love built on respect and absolute understanding. That is the reason they were so sure of loving each other forever irrespective of death tearing them apart. I don't think I have ever cried as much as I did when Enzo and Stefan died. Both Caroline and Bonnie lost the love of their lives. Steroline's wedding was honestly so sweet. The way Stefan looked at her when walking down the aisle, how beautiful both of their vows were and how adorable it was when Stefan said he fell madly in love with Caroline and Caroline said she imagined that day since the first day she met him, which we saw in TVD season one episode one, where she told Bonnie and Elena they were gonna have a June wedding, and they did. I think I just realized something. Damon/Elena is based off infactuation and lust, while Caroline/Stefan is based off an intense platonic love that became love over time, a sort of devotion for each other. Gonna be honest, I think Caroline is best with both Stefan and Klaus, but at different points. As Lexi said, "you can always have more than one epic love." And I think if neither of them died when they did, the Caroline could have had healthy, wonderful, epic loves with both of them at different points. The only ship I find myself liking less and less as I get older is Damon and Elena, and think it's because the relationship is literally built on infactuation that slowly became love.

I mean.... How can someone not love STEROLINE? Their development was the most realistic thing that ever happened on the show. They are the ultimate definition of finding "Soulmates in best friendship". That's the purest form of love built on respect and absolute understanding. That is the reason they were so sure of loving each other forever irrespective of death tearing them apart. Coz you can never stop loving your bestfriend especially when they are also your soulmate. ❤️ Everyone deserves a love like them. I always felt like steroline was one of the more realistic and better couples because unlike many, their relationship wasn’t based on the fact that they were vampires. Also like some relationships theirs took time and literally they took like 6 seasons to get together

I don't think I have ever cried as much as I did when Enzo and Stefan died. Both Caroline and Bonnie lost the love of their lives. Steroline's wedding was honestly so sweet. The way Stefan looked at her when walking down the aisle, how beautiful both of their vows were and how adorable it was when Stefan said he fell madly in love with Caroline and Caroline said she imagined that day since the first day she met him, which we saw in TVD season one episode one, where she told Bonnie and Elena they were gonna have a June wedding, and they did. And the way Bonnie was willing to turn into a vampire just to spend the rest of her life with Enzo or Enzo wanted to take the cure and be human for Bonnie proves how much they loved each other. I will never forgive Julie Plec for doing this to Stefan and Caroline and Bonnie and Enzo.

I think I just realized something. Damon/Elena is based off infactuation and lust, while Caroline/Stefan is based off an intense platonic love that became love over time, a sort of devotion for each other.
Gonna be honest, I think Caroline is best with both Stefan and Klaus, but at different points. As Lexi said, "you can always have more than one epic love." And I think if neither of them died when they did, the Caroline could have had healthy, wonderful, epic loves with both of them at different points.
The only ship I find myself liking less and less as I get older is Damon and Elena, and think it's because the relationship is literally built on infactuation that slowly became love.
Oh my god i miss them soo much they're the best in tvd seriously their love grow day by day ,bit by bit and year by year. Steroline is the best ship .They were there for each other every tym yet they didn't deserve that ending.
