My dad was sooooooo strict too! I was 18 when I graduated and still couldn’t go to after graduation party😒 and I had a midnight prom curfew and my dad hated my boyfriend who is now my husband(13 years). I got pregnant one month after graduation and I was soooo terrified bc of my dad. To this day I don’t cuss and I don’t drink bc of my dad. He was/ is an alcoholic and has been sober since I was a 10yo, it’s just the respect I have for him. Overall being young and secretive was crazy with my now husband, but it all worked out. It pushed us to work & finish school, being young parents. We have 3 beautiful children now, hopefully another otw soon... and my mom & dad want more grand babies lol. I hate those situations. That has happened to me before but with a friend, who I liked. But that night I was left hanging. I was at her colleg campus. She told me she was going somewhere real quick. The part that pissed me off was she never replied to my text or pick my calls up the whole night. I was 2 hours away from home and she was my ride. I literally had to ask somebody to take me almost over half way home to meet my sis to pick me up so I could go home in the middle of the night. I felt bad I had to do that but the person who took me halfway understood and had a heart. My friend finally texted me back the next morning and I was so pissed at her. It really does sucks and angers you. Haha.
